No sound, sir. I'm an American, and fell in love with your painting of what looks to be the Newlyn Pier from the Mousehole side. The pier is painted a very brilliant yellow, and you either elected to remove the wall, or that pier actually be a different pier. In any case, it's wonderful.

December 2023 - really enjoyed watching David Mankin's Voyages video from Cornwall Contemporary and feeling even more iinspired to visit his Solo exhibition there in 2024. Hoping that he might be there in person then too!

Fabulous work David. We’ve had two lovely holidays in Perranuthnoe and each time I come away with sketches and photographs of such special places; memories of a clouded yellow butterfly on Cudden point, lapping waves at the edge of Mounts Bay, fabulous walks along the same paths that you tread. Blazing sunset behind St Michael’s Mount etc etc. Your art really speaks to me… thank you for sharing your inspiration and process. Mick. 😊
