This clip is using the music from the Branagh film by Patrick Doyle. It really work well with this montage

Not as good as Kenneth Brannagh's version. Even the music in this clip was copied from Branagh's version.

0:50 I love how the camera shows the black actor just as Henry V says "let him depart". Even whatever cuck made this video subconsciously realises that they have to go back! Thank you for a nice video and for honouring the Bard!

Poor Eowyn was enthralled by Aragorn who does not reciprocate as he was promised to his elf princess Arwen.. Eowyn then decides to become a warrior and kills the wicked demon king after receiving so many grievous wounds . She was healed within the HOme of the Healing where Faramir too is recovering from grievous wounds. They realize that they are soulmates and hence unite as a couple. Their story ienacted by this song is very entrancing.

It's not a perfect mix, the music climaxes just as Hiddleston decides to go soft but it really goes to show how much work the soundtrack was doing in the Branagh version because this is still pretty kick ass.

No. Huddleston/Henry is speaking with his inside voice to THOUSANDS of his troops to arouse them to fight? No, no, no. THE SPEECH MUST BE SHOUTED! The situation demands it; the emotions demand it; the words demand it. Humans simply don't become aroused by a moderated voice.

In this version he is speaking to his brothers and uncles. So there's no need to yell.

In Sir Patrick Stewart's autobiography, he tells a great story about auditioning for this role. He was asked to do this speech three times - once as if speaking to the whole army, again as if speaking to a few men (like this clip), and finally as if speaking to Westmoreland alone. Imagine how different each of these deliveries would be.

If one thinks about it, this speech is heartbreaking, especially when you look at the broken looks on the soldier’s faces as Henry is desperate to arouse action and excitement from them with this speech, and there is also a tone of exhaustion. They are too tired to go on, and who can blame them due to fighting for long days? War is by no means glorious, and it is not triumphant or inspiring; it’s bad, and I think Henry knows this. I think he himself is putting himself in the mindspace of these young guys who soon realized that what they were facing wasn’t anything like they expected it to.

Yes, I noticed. Maybe this was supposed to be an anachronistic "Black Prince", (Richard II's father) from the previous century, whose armour was black but not his skin. 😊 Certainly gives the lie to the "oppressed black" narrative of modern times.
