I spent a week in Seattle to check out the city myself and my friend was right. People in Seattle are very cold, people walk like a robot and they don't make eye contact with you. Very depressed city. Very weird city. Someone told me that the weather is the reason for people and the entire city to be so depressed. I honestly don't know why Seattle and their people are so unfriendly, but definitely Seattle is not a place for me to live.

Yeah those partially finished buildings sure look nifty. When Kirkland.....IF Kirkland ever finishes them. Lots of exposed wood.......no activity for almost a year. Those places will have major issues.

Hello! I was wondering if you guys help families find rentals? Me and my Wife will be moving from Alaska to Washington and just doing a bunch of research on areas to start in! We will be down there in a few months to start our look but don’t have a specific area just yet!

How can prices go up anymore? Prices are at an astronomical high, more than ever before! So if prices trend up further then only the rich will be able to buy because the lower & middle class wouldn’t even get approved for financing in turn it would force everyone that isn’t wealthy to rent for life as corporations continue to buy everything up. To remedy the market we need nationwide funding for builders to assist them in building millions of new homes at affordable price points for the low & middle class.

I used an electric blanket and started getting nightmares that wouldn’t stop until I got rid of the blanket .later l moved into a top floor apartment in a highrise building and there was the motor for the elevator and other electrical equipment above my ceiling. I soon developed major sleep disturbances & nightmares. I then moved into another property with no electrical equipment or base station and l slept just fine, but then l moved again to downtown across from 3 different mobile phone base stations on top of 3 highrise buildings and again I got sleep disturbances and nightmares. I now live in a property with no nearby mobile base stations or power distribution and l sleep like a baby! 😊

I've been in the south sound 25 years. Can't afford to stay. Commuter Traffic is heavy, and costs for everything are quite high. If you're not moving into the Puget Sound area, it might be pleasant. In Puget Sound, you really want multiple six figures of income to enjoy a comfortable life.

There's some pretty wonky things going on right now that's sort of freezing the market and making it hard for families looking to buy their first home or a bigger one. First, there's millions of homeowners who are handcuffed to their current home because they have mortgage rates in the 3% or less. They're stuck. Second, there's a lot of empty nest Boomers in 4bd/2ba or bigger houses that refuse to move right now and they won't trade homes with their kids who have their own kids.

I'm very upset by this. That development is going to make traffic horrible. We moved here because we like how it is here. I can't believe they are going to add all of those residents and are decreasing the lanes on 34th. 192nd is already turning into a nightmare. New middle school will cause higher crime and lower property values. All rentals? This is crazy. We moved here for HP and that beautiful campus. Traffic, traffic, traffic. Keep 34th 4 lanes.

Change is a constant, especially in the growing close in suburbs. Hopefully having employment, a new school, and retail, will get people out of their cars or shorten their trips creating less traffic.

Most people think of Puget Sound as representing Washington State, but really most of the state is flat, mostly farmland or scrub desert, HOT in the summer and cold in the winter. The Eastern edge by Spokane gets hilly again with some sparse trees, but certainly not like the Westside. Very different people too, especially politically, from the coastal area. Anymore, you could probably include Kootenai County, Idaho in Spokane's population. I see more Washington plates some days than Idaho now. That would add 180,000 more people to Spokane's population.

Buy a EMF meter (like GQ EMF-390) and check for the magnetic field strength. If its less than 1 mG you are safe. If its between 1 to 2 mg you can take calculated risk. If its more than that, just leave from that place.
