@@darkness4382 I prefer the nail on metal bead. Most people are using the paper bead you glue on with mud. For me anyways, there is less room for error with the metal bead. Hope this helps

I use this exact same method using white lithium grease. We find that it works wonders. If we fall short, there is no harm in using an old-fashioned oil can with sump oil. Works well if expecting rainfall as well.

Yes, although when they are in swarm mode they are generally more docile.

I'm not sure what it's made out of. I am guessing it's some kind of rubber. We ordered it at a local lumber company.
