Fixed by methanol, dilution 1:10 Giemsa, 30 min time

Is the PVA solution stage necessary? Wouldn't Schaudinn's fixative do the same job? Why we use PVA?

PVA is a preservative while Schaudin is a fixative. Schaudin fixes fresh stool. Two different purposes.

If you make dilution the count will be affect and you have to multiply it by the dilution factor, but the motility will not
