Why ? My guess ... The Berlin Air Lift . Unrelated as it is to Japans defeat , it isnt . Picture instead of dropping food to hungry Germans the aircraft were dropping 500 pound bombs ..... non stop ..... nationwide ..... for a year and a half ...... only to then to have to deal with a million armed troops TO START WITH , with millions more to follow . Or did you mean "How did Japan set the stage for its own defeat in WWII at the beginning of it ?" Or did I miss the boat entirely ? Regardless it can be summed up in one sentence .... in an industrial world the Nation with the most/best industry wins ..... it is that simple . Things shifted between 1930 - 1945 and Japan lost the might its industry had resulting in a loss .

The reason for Japan's defeat is quit simple. They attacked US.

Hello. Unfortunately, i will not be creating another video anytime soon (holidays). Simply put, Japan's worsening relations with USA contributed to the outbreak of WW2 in two ways: 1) trade embargo by USA - worsened economic crisis in Japan - needed to carry out expansionist policy - attacked Pearl harbor so that they could get access to resources in SEA 2) discrimination by USA - encouraged Japan's expansionist policy and plans to form GEACPS - attacked Pearl Harbor so that they could expand their territory and achieve "Asian for Asians" ideal :)
