Thanks for the video, this helped a lot. I found with the multimeter that the element was no longer functioning and replaced by a new one. But somehow the light turns on but it still doesn't heat. My guess is that there's some hidden fuse or maybe coincidentally the top element also stopped functioning simultaneously and it's also required 🤔 Still investigating here.

Once i connect my remote, then can i now connect my phone? So i dont have to worry about not being to use the back button and such. My problem is currently that i moved to a new WiFi and have lost my remote. So since it’s not connected to WiFi i can no longer use my phone. And since i can’t use my phone i can’t connect my fire stick to WiFi.

That is difficult, only 2 options I see are. 1. Connect temporarily the firestick back to old WiFi by turning on the old router, turning off the new router. It may be the firestick automatically connects to that remembered WiFi. You can then amend to move onto the new WiFi by , once connected to old WiFi, turning on router and connecting to it via phone. 2. Use the tv remote to connect to the new WiFi. As can't use back button, make sure firestick is powered on fresh. You should then be able to go directly into the WiFi options. Hope helps. Please do like and subscribe.

Thank you and glad could help. The Clara and Libra have their pros and cons....for me, the Libra was the preferred option. I haven't tried comics but magazines.....yes. Mainly from overdrive. The annoyance is the print size and reading an article. The screen smoothness is not like a tablet so I find, personally, isn't a natural read. An ebook is, for me, a direct replacement to a paper book with ONLY exception being in direct sunlight and screen glare. A comic or magazine sadly doesn't. Mainly as the screen real estate means you are forever juddering around the screen. Comics may be better due to larger font size so on the Libra don't need to zoom in. Let me know. Hope helps. Yes, that will always be a weak point. Look at the area and try to get that edge of the seal as close as possible to the hinge. Other trick is to open the door fully and push the seal in that end first, getting it as close as possible. Hope helps. Please do like the video and subscribe as really helps us.

@@ratemygadgets However, I've not managed to repeat what happened weeks ago on my first attempt. After pressing the return/guide buttons the Samsung remote hooked up to the Firestick! All features worked, including the light pointer. I've not been able to do this since.

Hi mate, hope you are doing well, currently on holiday and I brought my fire stick with me I don’t have a remote as I lost it a few years ago but normally i just set up this on the TV but it seems to not be working does it have to be in HDMI 1 or can it be in HDMI 2 or 3 as I only have access to 3 right now

Difficult to say. The HDMI needs to support the ARC option so the remote from TV can control whatever device is connected. Usually (but not always) it will ne HDMI 1 . Hope helps. Please do like this video and subscribe as really helps us.

In short.....yes for epub. It will work to transfer like this. You cannot however amend the cover UNLESS you do it via Calibre on PC or another app on your phone (I haven't ever done either of these methods so can't help).
