I just purchased a Wood Chipper with this engine. You are the only one I can find who verified the thread size to add a drain valve to mine. I'm going with a 12 x 1.5 to 1/8"NPT female adapter and a 90 deg. elbow with a ball valve and tube fitting. Thank you!

Maybe not with the engine running if thats a bad idea. Perhaps the pump wouldn't pump as fast as the oil would deplete possibly causing bubbles or foam? Maybe attempt with engine off 👌

Thanks for doing this video! Shows me it's easy enough to do myself cause I do notice the hydraulics slow down on my machine when ran on high in about an hour! Some notes I wanted to add to your build to make it just that much better, 1. The spin on filter is small, I ordered the longest filter I could find. Extra oil capacity for cheap and also longer change intervals? I think it was 14$ so not an expensive upgrade. 2. You can buy a 3 way barb connection with shut off valves. Install 2 before the oil pump for easy fast oil flushes! First 3 way (3way with 2 valves) will be the drain line. The barb to the engine block is open. The barb towards the pump has a valve and the third barb is the drain barb also with a valve. Second 3 way is after the first of course. The open barb is facing the previous 3way and the other barbs have the valves. One to the pump and 1 will have a hose long enough to reach your new oil container.. this way you can run the engine with the input line directly pulling fresh oil through your radiators and through the block. The drain line drains into a spare used oil container. When the oil shows it's clean your flush is done! Second 3 way is before your pre oil pump filter

Sell as a kit for other air cooled engines with no oil filter or coolers . Will increase life. Valves usually go bad in these first most often.

I have two plans, the first is to try a cheap fuel pump, hopefully this one works. The second is to try a science trick to build a " pneumatic oil pump" . This method will use two check valves at each oil port one facing in the other facing out, and having a small section of hose from a tee that holds air. The cylinder down stroke should create small amount of pressure in the crankcase that will open the outward facing check valve, pressurize the the hoses cooler and filter. The check valve that the oil entered should close on the up stroke. The up stroke should create a small amount of vacuum in the crankcase then pull the oil through the inward facing check valve. The only thing with the second method is I am not sure how much pressure differential in the crankcase occurs between up and down stroke, I would need maybe 4-5 psi pulses to operate the check valves and to gain the 14-16 inches of height that the radiator is mounted at. I plan on doing this work this week since it rained and I am on hold with the pond cleaning project until it dries up again.

I’m not sure if the 2020 Sentra has the same switches but it definitely has the same issues. My niece drove over 1000 miles to our place a couple weeks ago. Somewhere along the way someone told her that her twilight was out. I went out to the car with her and told her to turn the lights on. Sure enough only one twilight was on. I told her to press the brake pedal, nothing! The third brake light worked but the two in the tail lights didn’t. A 4 year old car and if this is the switch issue, she’s past her warranty for a faulty switch ( I know bulbs, brake pads, tires, wipers etc aren’t covered ) so this is on her. I’ve never had a tail light, or signal light burn out within the first 5 or 6 years so if 3 bulbs in the rear taillights burned out that’s pretty sad. I’ve never had a switch malfunction but then I’ve only ever owned one Nissan an early 80s Stanza. By the number of KZbin videos and Nissan Forum comments, this is a very common Nissan problem. This is also a safety hazard as brake lights come in pretty handy in avoiding being hit from behind.

😯watevr wrx.. I 1dr if(probly not gonna try it) but I do 1dr if - someone just flopd a 1-2” industrial stikr on both sides - poked a tiny hole, & fed a zip tie through one of those - if it, at about 5 cents & 5 seconds cost/time, might last for 5 years?🤔
