This video was helpful! I believe my toddlers were in the laundry room messing with our water heater knob turning it to off causing us to lose hot water. I didn’t want to bother my husband at work so I Googled and KZbind. We have hot water again!

I have a solid red light

The pilot light ignite,but status light doesn't blink ,and once push button is released, The pilot light goes off.what causes?.

I use exclusively Cascade products in mine which is a Kenmore built by Bosch. It does better than Finish in my opinion.

This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. kzbin.infoUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).

What if that don’t work

What do you do when the threshold gets stepped on repeatedly, compresses down, and then does not pop back up? I have this issue on both my thresholds, it's like the tension clip is no longer functioning. Thoughts?

I have the exact same water heater and the honeywell thermo. The problem I'm getting is when I press down the pilot and press the ignitor, the flame turns on but as soon as I let go the pilot button, the flame shuts off. What do I do at this point?

You forgot to put it in the off position first for 10 minutes before you put it in the pilot position.

Is the status light supposed to stay green/on? Just got a new BW heater installed and the light is not on so wondering if I should report it now bc the tank is new so they change it? It does blink every so often??

So frustrating. I get a white light that flashes 2 times and will not light. It is 9pm, and husband isn't home. He doesn't have a spot to flip the gas off going to the water heater....just a turn nut of some sort, and I have no idea which way it turns. Also, I don't smell gas, thank goodness but woke with a headache. I am the only person in the house who can actually smell natural gas. Woke with a stuffy nose and headache...so who knows if you can smell it or not?

How to set clock and are the finish pods sceptic safe?

before turning the knob to the pilot position, many times you have to first let it sit in the OFF position for 5 or 10 minutes (depending on the written instruction in the hot water tank, then do what you did, put the knob in the pilot position.
