Can’t get my locks to cycle on a 02 ford f250. Any advice?
@DeathScouter12 күн бұрын
Start the engine. Turn off the engine. Exit and lock. to give a "reset". Wait a few minutes and then try again. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure how else to enter programming mode.

The white temperature sensing unit you referenced towards the end of your video, is actually the radiator fan resistor. It has nothing to do with temperature sensing, it just regulates the voltage to the fan motor. Other than that, good video.

I'm having a problem where I hear "rushing water" through the heater core. I get a burst of heat when I turn it on then is just warmish. Burping the cooling system has done nothing, maybe this needs to be my next step.
@DeathScouter2 ай бұрын
Flush & reverse-flush the heater core, and then make sure you're filling the core & hoses (as best you can) to keep air out of the system.

I was researching a dual watch radio but this thing sucks. It's not a truckers radio or a radio that a trucker would want. It's too complicated with all the tiny buttons and hard to see display. I'm looking for a big ole Cobra looking radio with 2 channels control and display that both work at the same time for example Channel 19 and a work channel like job site channel 5. Make it simple and easy to use with one mic and maybe 2 transmission buttons for each channel. Easy peasy 😊

Never bought a brand new car in my entire life. I'm 60 now, I bought my first used car in cash and will buy my last used car in cash. My 2006 Ford Freestyle after 14 years took a dump. Just bought another used car to replace it in cash. Bought a 2016 Jeep Patriot in cash just a week ago. I hate payments, so I stay away from them. Pay in cash and drive it until the wheels fall off of it. Save me a ton of money. Used cars are that, 90% of the time you're buying someone else's problems. You weight them out, fix them as needed and necessary, and then enjoy your ride, until it falls apart to it's EOL.

So grateful that you watched my video. You've saved a ton of money. My last "new" car was in 1997 when Honda came out with the CR-V, prior to that it was in 1987 when I bought my first car as a "young professional" starting my career. As it worked out, I didn't know any better and realized later that I got "ripped off" because Maryland was still allowing "Sum of the month's digits" loans, where you pay all the interest upfront so that pre-paying the loan doesn't save you any money on the back end. "When I was young and stupid, I was young and stupid." - George W. Bush I didn't have anyone showing me the way or the pitfalls of what the "friendly sales guy" was selling me. That's why I make these videos.

Quick question I did all of this and now my speedometer doesn’t move all of the other things work but when I drive the speedometer reads under zero it’s under the little tab
@DeathScouter4 ай бұрын
Troubleshooting 101 - you always start with the "last thing you changed". Inspect the connector and make sure it's properly seated. Also inspect the wires going into the connect itself to ensure that the pins aren't pushed back and not making contact within the connector. The other thing I'd try is physically moving the needle on the speedometer to make sure it's not stuck. It should move freely and spring back to 0 MPH.

I followed exactly like you said and I can not get this Jeep to start. How do I know if the engine is no good. My husband drove to work and overheated. Stopped for a few minutes. Got some water in it and drove to work. After work he added more water and drove about 1.5 miles. Got to the gas station, overheated again. Jeep died at the pump would not restart. He tried to restart numerous times. Had to tow it home. Got the radiator changed. Now it wont start. I put in the coolant, turned the key and i heard a metal on metal screech. DId my husband blow the engine?

This is one of the most comprehensive videos to do this. You answered SOOOO many questions I had on the other videos... Where to put the water after, flushing the fresh water out, adding coolant, etc. It may not be the best visually edited but it sure as heck tells you all the things you need to do. Keep up the great work!

You did this video a long time ago but it has helped me find this location. I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty with the first year of the redesign, and all the manuals show my cabin filter behind the glove box. But alas there is none there. I do have this on my jeep however the screen that you have above your blower motor is not the same. I have a white rectangular screen that sits about 3 inches high above the four nuts you removed but below the shroud you took off. Thanks for the info your video is still being used

The Pella 0C5Y00P0 rollers are still available from Pella. They come in a package of 2 rollers and are way cheaper than an internet supplier located in New Jersey.

@michaelgalloway9085 You can call the National Pella support number and give them the serial number of your sliding door. They will verify the rollers for your door and you can place an order with the representative.

As mortgage interest rates have risen since I made this video, the argument is even more compelling. Although in THIS video exercise, you will come out $9000 ahead by "investing on your own", but remember these numbers are the equivelent of getting a "GUARANTEED" 10% annual return for 14.5 years. That's why I say you can't beat the math of paying your mortgage off early.

The problem I see is that social security is being paid out by people currently paying in. To do this plan you would essentially have to cut benefits currently being paid by 33% and that could lead to a lot of poverty. Also, this is after 41 years, meaning that $1 million would be worth about 1/3rd of what that $1 million would be worth today and considering the safe withdrawal rate is about 4% we are essentially talking about $1k/month in retirement income and the guaranteed social security benefits having to be cut by about 33% to get it. So it might be a benefit if you still have 40 years, but it'll end up costing you if you only have say 20 or 15 years left. I prefer having a safer option with social security and a 401k plan option to compliment it. Maybe, the government should be allowed to invest a fraction of the social security funds into an S&P 500 fund though. That might strengthen the program.
@DeathScouter6 ай бұрын
No, the Bush plan allowed you to redirect up to 33% of the amount you're already contributing into "your" account, so there would be no need to cut/increase FICA taxes. The "inflation factor" you mention is moot. Inflation is happening with or without this option.
@shaunrosenberg45686 ай бұрын
@@DeathScouter The money you pay in today is directly funding the funds that are being paid out today. It's not sitting in a private account, it's being used. If you cut the amount that goes into social security it's inevitable that you will have to cut social security benefits. There's no way around it. Yes, inflation is going to happen regardless. But it's worthwhile to put it into perspective. That $1 million would realistically be worth about $340k and unless you plan on passing away your first year you'll need to think about the cash flow that you will get from it vs the cash flow you would lose by having less money going into the general fund. Sure, if you are 20, it's a good deal because you have tons of time to let it compound and will likely be better off. If you are 50 you'll be worse off because the cash flow from the money you saved will be more than offset by the inevitable cuts to social security.
@shaunrosenberg45686 ай бұрын
@@DeathScouter The only way a cut in benefits would not be inevitable would be if they increased the social security tax and put that increased amount into a private plan. Over the decades you could "weed people off" of the social security system by gradually decreasing benefits and increasing the private section of the contributions. It would be a long term play, but idk if our politicians are capable of making long term plays. 😂

Many times mice will nest in there, around here anyway, so it's highly advisable to wear a mask to prevent inhaling any mouse urine dust. Hanta virus has killed several people in 24 hours flat in my state (some locally) from sweeping dust where mice have been. So you don't want to do this without a mask - unless you have a death wish, LOL! Am sure your friends and family would rather have you here.
