You ever figure out why the high beams didn’t work?
@chile.productions2 ай бұрын
Yes the connections where put on the opposite way. They click on one way only so that’s how I put them but the wires were switched from the factory. So error on there part. It doesn’t click together cause the locks on now are the opposite side but I used electrical tape to secure them together

Hey I have a 1971 Chevelle and I wanted to ask what seats you used for your chevelle. I had a bench seat. I put some buckets in there but i don't like the color. Are the back seats the same brand or original? what kind of Brackets did you use? and where you purchased them from. Thanks
@chile.productions2 ай бұрын
The front seats are Scat Procar 90 series seats. The back seats are original. I like how they look similar. I had custom mounting brackets made(welded on points on the floor pan with bolts sticking up to bolt the seat brackets on)
@artcrow19682 ай бұрын
@@chile.productions Thanks man very helpful. I am thinking about just getting the brackets that convert from a bench to a bucket seat and reinforcing the floor pan with some steel. I don't have the back seat anymore. I wish i kept it and just redid them but i have some Camaro seats from 2020 that fit. Car is not original but i want to at least just make it look good.

Not 100% sure but if I’d have to guess in my case, I think the ujoint on my transfer case shaft is worn out. When in park, I can move it by hand.

Thanks, this helped me figure a few things out. I managed to get them in the middle groove and keep the other side from popping out by applying pressure the opposite way as well as up. If you just push up there is the tendency for the bar to slide too far over, as what happened to me and Chile.

Weird that you would leave the plastic over the exhaust pipe while intakes on the car and you drove it around the black just starting the car would get the exhaust hot enough to melt plastic over hot metal and you would have to get a scraper lol just seems more work than to just take off the damn plastic and install but great exhaust anyway
@chile.productions Жыл бұрын
I left it on while installing just in case it fell as I didn’t want it to get scratched or anything. I drove it straight to the shop after that and pulled it off when I was getting a piece made to connect to my headers. Nothing was stuck or melted!

So is it better to replace the whole tensioner or just the pulley ??
@chile.productions Жыл бұрын
There’s about a $9-$20 dollar difference between them(depending on the brand you choose) with the amount being minimal, I’d replace the whole tensioner.
