I think Sheila E was the scene stealer. She is dope in that white pants and hat ensemble. I like seeing her hit the drums! Go Sheila E! She is simply stunning.

This is not a love song. This song is about Dr. Martin Luther King being assassinated, April 4 a shot rings out in a Memphis sky. They took your life, but it could take your pride.

nice reaction - that tune is, for most listeners, a tough listen… if it connects with someone the million listens of it that follow just lock the dense and angular harmonies (odd / unusual chord structures) in at a molecular level, with some of us. I’d dare say that most people’s sensibilities will find that kind of melodic / harmonic / rhythmic construct repellent… it *is* kind of jarring, but… for some it’s soul-touchingly beautiful. thx for doing it, Bre - you’re alright 😎 - respect 🙏 seanM

Such a ridiculously beautiful song, it starts out so fragile and exposed and turns into a force of nature only the Gods can contend with.

I was lucky enough to see the Dead about 12 times. It was so fun and life changing. It made me believe that everyone could get along. The Dead Heads that followed them to EVERY SINGLE SHOW were so nice and peaceful. They lived on a barter system. I give you bread and you give me rice. I miss it so much. I subscribed because of this Dead video. Cheers.
