I'd love to see Thundercracker adapted into the movies as a main character one day. He'd be a good way to add nuance to the Decepticons and show a lot of them aren't evil, they just believe Megatron's the only path to a better system. Also, sidenote: I'm 100% convinced Dreadwing from Transformers: Prime was supposed to be Thundercracker at some point. Aside from his connection to Skyquake (who is confirmed to have originally intended to be Skywarp), he's a blue-colored Seeker with a deep sense of honor who, while loyal to Megatron, feels a sense of disgust or dishonor with many of the actions the Decepticons take.
