Their social media ads are so good. I especially like the one where Randy is out at the farm enjoying a burrito for lunch with his father. The whole scene was so charming and the chunky chile looked delicious. Meanwhile Pops was chomping down a fresh one! I plan to purchase a jar or two.

Watching this makes me remember the 1st time I had Hatch green chili stew in Santa Fe, New Mexico 30 years ago. I've tried my hand before at roasting a few Hatch chili's, and now I know at least one step that I can improve on. I'm only doing about 5 lbs, for now, but have a feeling I will need to make another run to the store to buy a full box. Thank you!

I know your videos been out for a while and every hatch season comes around I watch all the time!! I was stationed in Alamogordo 82-92 ❤❤❤. My second career as a retired truck driver of 21 years. Would stop in hatch all the time hauling meats to the SW and produce back to Midwest. Now retired 7 years in Ne and able to get hatch Chile by mail!!! Yeah!! Great story! The video of Randy putting chili on a burger in a beautiful chili field had me intrigued. I ordered and I’ve been hooked since. My orders get bigger each time. Eat more chili!

Once again I've tried roasting my Hatch chilis when I can get them. I had to use my oven, but did not do the ice water thing had a mess, they got to done and it was hard to keep the flesh together for Relleons. I've tried using a grill but it's too HOT outdoors in Nashville. By the way, there is no good Texas Brisket here either or Tex-Mex. I have spent time in N.M. and learned to love the Foods but you can't get them in Tn. it's a very limited place. It's a lot of work to make Relleons, so I Roast them,Stuff them and freeze them to eat in winter.

I ordered my Big Jim's in February, got them yesterday! So incredible! Big, fat, gorgeousness! I had a Green & Blue burger last night. Grilled burger topped with roasted fresh Hatch chili and melted blue cheese w/bacon... Need I say more? Delish!
