Thanks for these gems !!! Much appreciated. Could not find any info on the so-called LP from this band, not even on Discogs. Even this 12" looks pretty rare (plus it has been released on Maxi CD). Too bad these are only Snippets and not the complete tracks. Groove Garden (= Ambersunshower + Atsushi Numata). Sample used on the LP Version = Larry Young "Turn Off The Lights" [1975]

I love the old halftime shows from the early years of the Super Bowl, before they turned it into an overblown "extravaganza" with mega pop stars. I've found videos of some--but not all--of the old shows on KZbin. I want to see this one so badly because I love Caribbean music! While a few snippets of the music are better than nothing, I've been looking (so far in vain) for an actual video of the halftime show. If anyone knows of one, could you please post the link?

Yes, I'd love that too! My late stepmom helped produce the halftime show and I'd love to see it as I was too young at the time to appreciate it.

@@shawnmaile9234 I've done searches on Google and on KZbin itself by both the year and the Roman numeral of a particular Super Bowl halftime show. I stopped at 1992 (Super Bowl XXVI) because IMHO that's when the halftime show jumped the shark. The ones I still haven't found are II (1968), VI (1972), VIII (1974), XII (1978), XIII (1979; this Caribbean one), and XV (1981). I've only found the first half of the Super Bowl IX (1975) halftime show--kind of a pity because that one features the music of Duke Ellington, which I also love.

@@timothysprengeler4071 wow you’ve really done a deep dive. I would like to believe that for the 1979 halftime show that some executive from Caribbean Cruise-line has it on a vhs tape somewhere in their basement. If only we knew who. This is where a digital archive would come in handy.

What the Hell?? The ONLY remix I was looking for here is the UK mix. It says here and EVERYWHERE else I looked online that it's at least SIX minutes long. It's LESS than two minutes here in the damn "video". What's with the damn fade away edit?? The instrumental's got the same nonsense, with its short clip. DON'T bother posting music like this here if the tunes are damaged!!
