Russell completely misjudged this corner. You can clearly see that he is so focused to try to overtake Alonso’s car, that he didn’t brake hard enough, took too much speed in that corner, resulting in understeering, because of dirty air and then crashed. No one is to blame except himself. You can be sure, if it had been Alonso's fault, Russell would have immediately reported it instinctively, which he did not do.

I honestly i think is bananas. A warning should have been fair. Alonso radio is available. He called throttle failure before turn 1 in the first DRS zone. He then immediately repeated throttle issue after Russells crash. He gets 20 sec? Max had grip issue in lap 2 in turn 6 almost the same scenario causing sains a brake check. Max go unpunished cuz Sains adjusted. Is like the FIA is not consistent with their ruling 🤷🏾♂️

Not a brake test. George didn't even flinch or react because of Alonso's move. He simply tried taking the corner normally. Was it dirty air? Probably.
