You got any videos of your net set up?
@Hawk3r Жыл бұрын
I don't have a video. I'm actually just changing it at the moment to a better quality impact screen (better projected image) and am looking to improve the tension and side netting. Basically it's a 9m x 3m net, I have set it up into a 3 by 3 by 3. The middle section is hanging off a steel cable which is tensioned with a turn buckle. I front of that is my impact screen which is 3x3m

A super cheap one, nothing special. Works okay for my budget set up but it needs the lights dimmed

Are you able to get a full screen out of it or as that as big as it goes?
@Hawk3r Жыл бұрын
@@itszach6808you really need a "short throw projector which is 4:3 ratio to fill the screen. Being a cheap projector it needs to be mounted back further than where you stand and it's 16:9.not ideal. Have a look at the gspro Facebook groups, they have a lot better info than I have.

@@Hawk3r thanks man, I’ve seen that, kinda wanted to check the boot speed and how it actually works on a car, seems like those have some issues with car play .
@Hawk3r2 жыл бұрын
@@mverditepes boot up time is pretty much instant. Android auto can take a 12 seconds to load wirelessly. The reverse camera is instantly accessible as the head unit changes input no reliance to Android. Honestly, the head unit is great. A massive improvement and update to the car. We have no issues with Android auto or apple car play both works perfectly. The install is really easy just make sure you use the can bus so the volume up and down and next previous wheel buttons work.

Do you have the LEDs just resting on the edge of the TV screen? The TV I have has a small edge on each side where it seems they would fit perfectly. I bought a Muzata channel system to house the side LEDS but havent checked to see if they are too wide versus edge of TV. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

Really nice work. Are you controlling LEDS with a teensy? What kind of power supply do you need for these? Looks great. Thanks for sharing
@Hawk3r3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, teensy controlling the LEDs. I just have everything wired to my PC Power supply for 5v and 12v. I just cut off the ends and wired them to a terminal block for easy access.

@@Hawk3r Nice...so a PC power supply will work? I have a couple of extra PC power supplies in my garage. Do I need to buy any adaptors to connect them or does a PC power supply have the needed connections? Sorry for the dumb questions but I'm a newbie. Thanks bud! Yours look great. I like the idea of your LED matrix filling whole back area up not just 3/4 like Ive seen from others. I bought 2 LED matrixes off alibaba a few months ago but havent tried to install them yet
@Hawk3r3 жыл бұрын
@@BillBene67 keep in mind my vpin is 27", so my matrix is just a single one. The LEDs are just taped to my Led monitor but ideally channel to run inside it best. I just used a molex 4 pin splitter off the power supply to not cut the PSU loom. It is the main power supply I run the computer off. 650watt from memory
