Such a busy little pack of puppies! Maybe make another sleeping platform the same height or slightly higher than the pee-pee box and maybe MoMo would be more inclined to sleep there than in the pee-pee box, that's preventing his brothers from using it.

We are thinking of putting 2 pee boxes in the pen. But not sure if that will help because Mochi sometimes like to sleep in it too.

@@HavaneseLife , Havanese like to be elevated, which could be why they like sleeping in wee-wee box. If you configured a nest type box, a little higher than the wee-wee box, they may be more inclined to rest in it, rather than the loo.

How often do recommend bathing? Can I wash them once a week? What about a blow dryer?

It is recommended that dogs get a bath once a month. However, we find that the odor gets really strong in the 2nd week even when we give them a wipe-down every night. We usually give them a bath every week. 2 week is the minimum. They are fine with blow dry because Havanese do not shed as much as other dogs.

My condolences. That's one of the most difficult things to deal with. We are so emotionally attached to our pups that I can't imagine how to deal with the loss.

@@HavaneseLife Figuring Chestnut out is not easy. Sometimes it is if I am eating it. I was eating a salad one day so I gave her some broccoli. To my surprise she ate it. But not carrot.

The parents are around 14 lbs. Momo is 5.5 lbs. While Mochi is almost 4 lbs.

How do you minimize pet odors with so many puppies??? Can the cleaning solutions be harmful to them???

It is not that difficult. We just need to wet wipe all of them at the end of every day. Tofu has stronger odor than the odors so she is more difficult. We use baby wipes and dog spray so they are not as harmful. We don't use cleaning solutions or spray directly on their faces. Hope that helps.

It depends. Momo is a little ove 4 lbs. Angle is 4 lbs and Mochi is almost 3.5 lbs. They are about 12 in length.

Mine does sometimes. Depends on her mood, I think. She likes beef, liver, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. She very picky.

Yes, they are picky. Both Tofu and Mocha don't like beef and they hate liver. The only meat they eat is chicken and we usually make chicken noodle soup for them.

It's so heartwarming to watch them. It doesn't seem like three years since my Esteban was about that small, with his needle sharp little teefers. He was a lot of work in the beginning, I can really empathize with what you and your wife are compelled to do to ensure they turn out the best they can be. Truly a labor of love.

It is. Even when they are just puppies they start to display their unique behaviors. We also call Momo "big boy" because he is the biggest and the most fluffy.
