I am pure Flipino. But I know my family has European ancestry. But regardless I consider myself pure Filipino. I have been mistaken for being Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, and European/American and Hispanic. Same thing with my other family members. They have been mistaken for being some other ethnicity. For me, It is hard to tell Southeast Asians apart, but East Asians I can most of the time.

Ive spent a lot of time in hospital this past 18 months . Ive had two heart attacks an cancer. However a lot of the nurses are male and female. I ask them " are you filipino " y They look at me shocked. How do you know where i come from. Well a couple of reasons is im engaged to a philopina and a lot of them are in the nursing profession in the uk. I will go on to say the are very hard working people and the women are very pretty. Especially my fiance.

By the way most people would not know but Japanese are not Asians. They are Pacific Islanders, just like Filipinos, Taiwanese, Indonesians, and some Malays. Why? Japan is not an Asian country, it is a Pacific island nation.
