Samesies. Can y’all do a more detailed video of the blind setup? Or does it already exist?

What do you think about that extra slot? Any problems with debris or junk getting in and jamming up? It’s looks awesome but that slot worries me a little bit
@SergioGarcia-n3u3 минут бұрын
Why would it be a problem on the other side were the bolt handle goes it has a way bigger hole and also don’t forget the loading port has a hole too

I can't wait for those full body pintails, we need a video on those!

I cut my teeth hunting Skagit and Padilla bays up in Washington. Lots of great tips here especially on the risks to dogs. My first lab couldn't be called off a bird, and many times he would disappear chasing a cripple. We were hunting from shore without a boat. My next lab I made sure I could call him off. But in the wind it's hard for them to hear. I would say don't send the dog until you are certain those cripples are finished. Many "dead" birds get very much alive when the dog is twenty yards from it.

I’m guessing those birds would probably decoy a lot better if the dog would actually stay in its blind

I shot a double band hen mallard this week. I found your video while researching what it actually meant (I'm not a big waterfowl hunter, a friend took me out). The guys I was with were freaking out! How crazy would it be if my duck was one of the mallards you banded in this video??!?! I took it on the shores of Erie about 37 miles southwest of the Jack Miner facility on 12/6/24.

It's cool to see a video featuring the Columbia River. It definitely has its own challenges and dangers hunting a giant tidal river. There are very real dangers. But the ducks keep us coming back! My boyfriend and I hunt it, often out of our kayaks. Nothing like adding another layer of risk lol. Great footage, and I loved a lot of the details you included. Great video!

How many pounds of that would you suggest for one layout blind?
@FA-BRANDАй бұрын
I go overboard and use about 4-6 lbs. But I really don't want to add much natural when i get there. I want the blind just about covered.

From my corner of the world (NZ) Tim Grounds is attached to so many of the big names. In recent history, I’d put Tim pretty high, without Tim, we may not have had many others as good as they were. Duck Commander was huge here in the 90s too. Among all the others, slightly more recently, Scott Threinen, with his Bad Grammer DVD has to be pretty important imo.
