1) This doesn't happen in the manga. 2) There's a really good AU fanfic where she decides to keep him as a sex slave called "Sympathy for the Diva". It's a pretty hardcore story that doesn't shy away from admitting how twisted and perverse the situation is, but it's really well-written as intriguing.

IMO, if both Diva and Saya had lived a normal happy life, it would eventually turns out to be extremely awkward ... why ? Let me explained it: 1. They would live lonely as hell for eternity and have to watch all their friends and love-one dies of old age 2. They must never produce children, cause the only way to do that is by creating a Chilvalier and that Chilvalier might go rampage and creates ghouls 3. Even if they are able to control their Chivalier and desires to give birth to offspring. The only way they can do that is by having sex with the other queen's chivalier (that's why Diva raped Riku and not her own Chivalier). Diva's Chivalier already tried to let her mate with normal humans and her own Chivalier but it didn't work, it really has to be Saya's Chivalier that Diva must mate with. Now we all know a Queen loves her Chivaliers and her Chivaliers love her, so will he/she allow that cross-sex to happen ? A fight will eventually happens between the Queens one way or another. Unless the Queens are like totally okay with that ... which is extremely awkward ...

It is confirmed that every Queen have the ability to hypnotized the other Queen's Chivalier with their body to serve the purpose of reproduction. Saya would have wiped the entire Chivalier team of Diva if she had fight them naked :)) making this anime 12 episodes rather than 50 eps

Did yall dumbasses really think someone would come out MENTALLY unscathed after being experimented on and left bereft of human interaction? Like really? Come on now. OBVIOUSLY someone who hardly had the chance to interact in a nice environment with humans would be able to interact with them normally. It was expected for Diva to do the stuff she did with the mindset that was forced onto her. No one is going to learn right from wrong if it wasn't already taught to them. And by the time Saya and other people were trying to get involved by then its too damn late! Shes older already and set with the mindset she was forced to have in order to cope with what was done to her. Thats what experimentation does! Come on people. @@iceaura3938 Yea, poor Riku, no matter what Diva has went through, there is nothing that can justify what happened to him, Riku is the innocent that has done nothing to deserve his fate, I'm glad she is killed by Saya, her fate was already sealed when Riku dies

@@alexandersmith4731 way late comment: Diva really didn't kill Riku... somehow with their unique reproduction, Riku merged with Diva (yes his own body remained, dead, as he transferred to becoming part of Diva), hence her changing in appearance and body into looking like him (Diva was so beautiful with her long hair and sexy feminine body, GRR, lol), Riku was apart of Diva, but now that Diva was killed, Riku is dead, killed by Saya herself, lol

turkishvan2 well the fact is she was born in the ninteen century, where morals were a bit different, hence according to her she was actually doing him a favour by making him a man, not to mention she needed his seed, on a funny note they do actually share a much more warmer, while still violient relationship in the manga...there she dosen't kill or even rape him and he never changes into the chevalier as a result. Instead despite the fact he was still kidnapped by her group they actually become a sorta friends, thought she later gets pissed at him a bit and as a result decides that he's not worth of having her, he also cares about her a bit more in the manga as he was worried over her when she finally duelled with Saya.

+turkishvan2 oh yea actually till late twentieth century it kinda worked , I mean seriously how do tou think Rome was build , or how about ancient israelites actually till modern times no body gived a shit, when Diva's from it was pretty much oki to buy children from poor parents or use both Saya and Diva as guinea pigs , in fact if you were a rich lord you could pretty much legally fuck all you're female survents without any of them complaining about rape, in her mind Diva thought she was pretty generous xd , besides the scene how brutal is does show some sympathy, Diva was aware that as weak chevalier Riku would be slaughtered and instead of letting him live with that shame, she took his life gently, he died in her arms without beeing beaten tortured etc , she already killed him anyways back when she drained his blood so , you can't view Riku as a minor since he no longer was human.Plus you can't judge Diva in human morality standards since she's a different species, in many species like the mantis a female will kill the male and devour him, in here it was the other way around en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_cannibalism

Stanisław Giers Just because people did it and just because it was considered okay does not mean it was justified. Rome was also built with slaves (so was my country, for that matter), but that doesn't mean slavery was ever okay. Diva has enough sentience to understand morality, something mantises do not. Or maybe she's a sociopath and doesn't understand, but if that's the case, she needs to be kept from harming people. I WILL judge her, in the same way I judge the treatment of women in Saudi Arabia, the xenophobia in Switzerland, or the child abuse among the Amish (for the record, I'm not accusing everyone in these groups of such actions, just pointing out that they are widespread. If you want, I can provide you with a long list of my own culture's faults) . Respecting differences in people does not mean giving them a free pass. If no one's getting hurt, then yes, live and let live. But not if someone is getting raped.

turkishvan2 there is some hypocrisy in all of this , you are so affraid of doing wrong or crossing a controversial line , you don't understand that its still a work of fiction , besides if you want to judge why don't you judge the rich guy (Amshell) who basically took Diva as her pawn, people seem to ignore the fact that most of the wrong doings Diva commits come from the way she was raised , you and I not only posses what you call sentience, but also clearly understand why rape or killing is wrong in case of Diva who basically is a sentient animal that was raised by beeing catered to any of her whims, there is no such understanding, her interactions with what you call normal humans are so limited that she only encountered specifically selected people, who are either selected to be her food or chevaliers, in the whole series Kai is the only human not selected by Amshell she was ever allowed to interact with. In a sense Diva still remains locked in her tower as she's not allowed to have a normal life , still beeing kept in her childhood and under Amshell's direct supervision. Where Amshell dosen't ever bother about telling her its wrong to do it ,only allows her to have her false sense of freedom and cleaning the mess she makes by covering it up, basically treating her as a beast. (just note the fact how she got into the Shield headquaters ,despite knowing and controling the whole situation,Amshel pretends to not know the event took place and making Diva think she was able to run away from him ,while in fact he knew how suspectible to her manipulation Carl was ,he wanted Diva to get pregnant and purposelly feed information into Carl about Shields headquarters location, knowing Diva wanna go there)

Everyone keeps saying Diva murdered and raped Riku, in a way she did. but also she didn't. Diva had a little crush on Riku if you asked me and once she saw that he had become Saya's chevalier Diva became very interested in him. Queens can only have more children by their sisters chevalier's thus because Diva wanted to mate and picked Riku, though he was scared he was untrained, this is mostly Kai's fault as he wanted his brother to be who he was before he was returned to life and really wouldn't let him do anything. Instead of making Riku brave and strong they made him scared and weak and because of this Diva took advantage of it and used her Queen powers to send Riku in to a maddening desire, he was 14 most normal boys have thoughts by now, though Riku was a sight of innocents again not having any kind of personal protection made him as good as dead. Many people hate Diva for what she does. But why? We hate her because being treated like she was lower then trash drove her to hate humans? Yep that's it! Diva has nothing, she appears to be vain, childish, and ultimately uncaring. And after such a wonderful upbringing I can't imagine why. The only problem is that Diva is seen as evil because of the bad things she does because that is all she knows but it isn't all she wants. She wanted a family, she wanted to be loved. The ending of the anime shows clearly that even Saya herself wanted freedom, Saya became a puppet to destroy her own kind and as Diva lay dying in her arms Saya desperately tried to save her. In reality both Saya and Diva had something the other wanted, but what they both wanted was not only Freedom, but each other and to be the loving sisters they were meant to be but were turned against each other all for one man's stupid experiment.

Mister Spade Diva and Saya's race is where the females are dominate. They kill their partners after mating, Diva knew this and was happy to do because she liked RIku and that's why when pregnant she took on his appearance to be close to the boy she loved. Though she hated Saya she loved her and Saya was the same, they were both going to kill each other and end everything but Diva was weakened from becoming a mother and lost her life.

I don't see why you brought up Diva's death or their race. They do not HAVE to kill their mares. If Saya got knocked up by Solomon/Haji/Kai, do you really think she would kill any of them? It's tradition; it's also tradition for religious people to hate gay people. However, not every religious person hates gay people; only those that choose to hate them do so. Diva chose to kill Riku. Plain and simple.

Look, I respect what the tragedy may have brought her, and I even have a friend who has a somewhat similar situation to Diva. However it didn't make him hateful and even he, if he commited similar acts, wouldn't be excused for his past. I somewhat sympathized with Diva up until she did what she did to Riku.. I respect what had happened to her, it will not change my opinion of her however no matter how compelling your argument is. Though I certainly respect your point of view.

while you see the bad side of diva you don't realize the hurt and betrayel she went through, she never had real love, and she craved for it while saya was out there with a family of her own diva was locked away as a experiment, i think diva was miserable inside so she intempts too make other people miserable, i think the only two people she truly loves is her babies "twin daughters"

I like villans, even better if they are sarcastic and rebelious.But i can accept rape, so i after that i lost my love for Diva.I can understand why the writers made she do something like that, in my opnion was unnecessary and gratuitous.I really desire her death after what she did with Riku.And makes me sick how the anime try to transform her pregnancy something nice.Otherwise, Diva habe her own chevaliers to reproduce with, i can't undersrand why they chose this Riku's plot .
