Absolutely glad you enjoyed the park. The carousel was actually being refurbished. It's been an ongoing project for 4 years. Early do you love our park but I don't believe it gets the attention it deserves. It has the potential to be bigger better stronger faster. But the money is not put into the park like it should be. Really the last actual notable ride we Scott was the boss that was back in 2003.

It is an absolutely beautiful park and has a wonderful atmosphere to it. The park needs some more love from both Six Flags and theme park enthusiasts!

I think timbers is overrated too, and thats mostly down to the layout. Prowler gets a pass for that due to its old age but timbers is from 2016, why is it an out and back? That kind of ruins it for me as it focuses only on little hills but they were somewhat strong, not as strong as renegade at valleyfair or either of the other gcis i did Beast is better especially at night Also rain was common on my visit so flight of fear with fast lane was my go to and Orion was more closed but still got on it

I have yet to catch up on watching your vlogs, but a quick update: got to worlds of fun and sfsl and found amazing coasters in prowler and american thunder and rough ones like timber wolf and the boss. Liked wof better as it looked less sketchy and had overall a more solid lineup of rides. Also hit up Mt Olympus and by golly the ejector in the back on hades 360 prelift is out of this world. Next on my list of parks to take down is a two day stay at kentucky kingdom, by far the smallest park aside from elitch I will go to and storm chaser on hopefully not so busy weekend late October will be at the top of the list. Also planning on over texas in November..maybe might do Knotts instead

@@randompog8493 Awesome, I’m glad you got to hit some new parks! We haven’t made it out to Worlds of Fun yet but it’s definitely on our list. Mt. Olympus is fun but honestly it felt the sketchiest out of the three parks you mentioned lol. Kentucky Kingdom is worth going to for Stormchaser alone. The finale on it is awesome! Unfortunately they don’t have early entry, but in recent visits i believe they let guests in a tad early to avoid overcrowding the front gates at opening

They can't, nor should they. The speed of the Swinging combined with the disk Rotating is what provides the Airtime on this ride. Otherwise, just request they bring back Power Dive, or any of those Looping starship.

The spinning makes for a deceptively thrilling flat ride and it has a long cycle which makes it super fun for us

On weekdays you can get an unlimited ride wristband which is valid on all the rides except for the Haunted Mansion.

Great video, however I’m surprised you chose the leave the park for dinner as Kennywood has some great food for an amusement park. Also, you are still allowed to bring in your own food which is rare for a theme park.

👍Hard not to have a good time there even with the rain. Looks like you got some great advice: Spent a FULL day there, row 3 on Phoenix, tried a lot of their trademark foods and did other 'Must Do" rides there. Did you hit up Knoebels Haunted Mansion and Scenic Skyway?

@@easynhonest Sadly the sky ride was closed during our visit, but we would have loved to get on that! We intended to check out the haunted mansion but ended up spending our remaining tickets on a Phoenix night ride instead, which ended up being worth it because we really enjoyed that ride. We will definitely be back to get on everything we didn’t get to ride though. They had some awesome flat rides that I had never seen before

10:59 Just wait until you ride Hades 360, that is a jackhammer. Also, I love the Boss, its my second favorite wood coaster and sits in my top 10 out of 250.

The Boss is such a charming coaster and has a beautiful setting! We hope that someday it can get re-tracked though. Hades 360 is an elite coaster that is unfortunately a jackhammer of a ride!

Great video, as someone who lives in Columbus right between cedar point and kings island, I can 100% say kings island is the better overall park. Once you get passed the fact cedar point has better coasters, everything else is better at Kings Island. We are so spoiled in Ohio!

@@rideonreviews593 Kings Island really surprised us when we went. I think I liked it over Cedar Point this year too! Cedar Point has some great rides but Kings Island feels very cohesive and complete, plus the setting in the woods is really pretty. You guys are so lucky!

Just so everyone who wants to go is aware, the carousel is being worked on. They're repainting and fixing up the horses for it. So, don't worry, the carousel is still going to be at St. Louis.

I would have asked in the CP video but I heard vengeance was #3 and velocicoaster was #1. Would that make iron gwazi #2? And is gwazi better than Vengeance or no?

@@randompog8493 This is Michael’s top 3: 1. The Voyage (best wooden coaster ever) 2. Velocicoaster 3. Steel Vengeance Idk where Iron Gwazi is after that, but Steve is better for the duration alone! I also think Wildcat’s Revenge is better than Iron Gwazi, we want to go back to Busch Gardens Tampa again to re-ride it though! Hopefully next year!

@@EnjoyYourRide5 I liked steel vengeance and felt the reasons for calling it best in the world, but it started to feel too samey after a while. What I learned making stuff in planet coaster is there's not that many elements to keep a ride unique and vengeance falls into the category of using 2 or so elements multiple times, and near the end even with all its speed intact it definitely seems like it's overstaying its welcome Iron gwazi on the other hand is far too short but it makes up for that with its speed which it never seems to lose, one more foot of height and steep drop, and it's unique elements, also why I like Goliath over raging bull. Plus the ride was insane even though steel vengeance still was, but it felt like it was trying to kill you the whole time from my muddled memory 2022 On topic though I should try out Hershey for all their coasters especially wildcats revenge Tryna get to fun spot Atlanta and over Georgia the weekend after this though, and then of course bgt next month
