I want you to think about your video description, which says “Avoid content that is political, personal, or religious.” While the political and religious sort of make sense, the lack of this combination of things effectively makes all interactions on LinkedIn superficial and fake, as are 90% of the posts on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is basically becoming a punchline at this point due to this. There is nothing more ridiculous than the 20-year employee who was recently fired, thanking the company that fired him. We would rather her say what she really thinks about that company so that we know not to go work there. To use another completely fake piece of propaganda, LinkedIn's “culture” is dehumanizing.
@Kimber_HillАй бұрын
Thank you for sharing your perspective! I get where you're coming from-LinkedIn can feel overly curated at times. My goal with this video is to help people strike a balance between being authentic and staying professional. Transparency matters, but so does respect. It’s not easy to navigate, but I believe we can share real experiences without burning bridges. Are there additional ways you think we can improve LinkedIn culture and engagement?

I've applied to Traveler's before and I am not sold that they're military spouse friendly. I think they claim to be but like everyone else out there, they say one thing but don't follow through. Until there is an option to disclose that we're military spouse on the application, then it's just another pie in the sky application.

Oh no, I know how tough it can feel to hear that after putting in so much effort! 😞 Here’s the good news: Intuit is still actively recruiting, and they’re sending candidates through the hiring process now for callbacks in the summer and fall start dates next year. 🎉 They’re also ramping up hiring for business tax roles, so there are still opportunities to stay in the game! My advice? Stay sharp by keeping up with the course material and look for ways to gain hands-on tax prep experience over the next few months. Volunteer programs like VITA are a fantastic way to build your skills and strengthen your position as a standout candidate. You’ve laid such a solid foundation-don’t let this be the end of your journey! Stay persistent, keep growing, and remember, we’re here to support you every step of the way. 💪💙

@Kimber_Hill Yes. I'll keep my head up. I worked really hard. I passed all the Tax Level 1 testing including three of the five practice test. I passed the Tax Preparation training with a one hundred percent on the final exam. When I spoke to the the recruiter she said I even passed the Hirevue interview! Unfortunately, the recruiter said they've already filled all positions for the hiring season. Like I said, I learned alot. The training was absolutely fantastic.
