there are some Brutalist Buildings with great design, people love or hate this style, or both right?

I was so fortunate to have a tour of the factory and The Green Village and I even got to rent one of the houses for one night. And from Bali I flew to Sumba and it turned out that the hospitality school I was staying in was built by Ibuku. I didn't know until I was there and asked questions. I was just so drawn to the Bamboo designs by him and his children. I saw an article about Elora Hardy years ago and it was a bucket list item to see these homes

Wonderful video. I just subscribed to the channel and clicked on the first video on the main page without reading the title or paying attention to the thumbnail... and to my surprise, the video was about the architectural style I admire the most. The quality of your work, judging by this video, is excellent. You just gained a loyal viewer. Cheers!

Great vid. My Opa lectured at the Bau Haus and was good friends with Walter Gropius who even came and lived with my family for a few summers here in Florida. My mother remembers his visits quite well. Although, the heat and humidity weren't his cup of tea, especially in a pre-A/C era. I personally remember many piece of furniture that looked just like this in my Opa's house while growing up, but just assumed it was normal. LOL! Vielen Dank!

Majority of contemporary architecture is ordinary spaces. Almost all of Rococo, Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical, etc. architecture were monuments. The home your broke ass live in will never be as ornately decorated as the home of a multi-millionaire nepobaby, regardless of its "style".

I was born April 12, 1979. Exactly 60 years after the Bauhaus' foundation. I think it was a sign that I would become something of a designer.
