Taking supplements of any kind is a dead end. This not the answer to health. We’re meant to get our nutrients naturally and not from pills, tablets, or powders. ~ Loren Lockman There are no supplements that will make up for unhealthy eating habits; it simply can’t be done. ~ Dr. Douglas Graham The questions with supplements are always Which ones? and What doses? In Hawaii, we locals eat it soft or hard. When in a soft form you can remove the skin, heart, and seed to mash it into a pudding texture. With that mix you can use it as a batter to deep fry things like tempura vegetables, fish, or whatever you can think of. Raw is good or hard you can peel and bake 375 degrees for an hour ½. Comes out like a potato. Butter it add garlic salt.

Its calyces are used to make drinks, jams, and other products.
