Yes so they will send a new V5 with the standard reg, and a retention form for your private reg!

Most reviews and feeling is the F70 is suffering from cost cutting compared to the F40. Lesser materials, missing features like I-drive, lesser build quality. This is also in line with other car in BMW range like the X3 where cheaper materials are being used especially in contact areas like door cards etc…

I got a used one from a BMW dealership and I've to say I'm thrilled with the purchase. Sure, it's not the pure, inline-6, RWD BMW experience, but comparing it with other hot hatches in the market it still is quite good, the interior is much better than the competition, back space is larger so road trips with people are doable, it has a lot of tech and quite a lot of power. The F70 might be a step up in quality, but it also lost the physical buttons and the interior is IMO uglier. Having the buttons is much better for daily usability. Like I've said, it lost the uniqueness that the previous gen had, but I still think it's the best all rounder among their peers. The MK7/8 Golf R might be a bit more fun, but the interior is worse and the build quality too. If you care about stuff other than the raw power and handling I think it's a very solid choice.

Have had the same experience, took order of a i20N, received it Febuary 2024, did 2400 miles in it; it broke down, RAC came out to look at it, the alternator failed. Hyundai took it back, 1 month after I didn't hear a peep from them, so contacted them; "we can't see a light on the dashboard, one of our mechanics will look into it" then again no contact for a month, so got in touch again with this reply "well one of our mechanics will have to test drive it for a week to diagnose the issue" even though the issue was already diagnosed 2 months prior. Months later of being ignored, or seemingly having no interest; 6 months in total, it's being returned. First new car I've ever owned and this is the experience I've had, totally put off, will just carry on owning older cars. 🙂

I was the one commenting m135i is better.. Dismissing the BMW M135i as a "bad car" based on one bad experience overlooks its superior performance, technology, comfort, and build quality compared to the Renault Clio 200. The Clio might be fun in specific situations (like twisty B-roads), but in terms of overall capability-whether it's speed, handling precision, practicality, or refinement-the M135i is simply in another league.
@TomSimonss10 күн бұрын
Yeah you are right, but them leagues aren’t the ones I care for

@@TomSimonss well respected bro. Enjoy your new toy :D
@Supraifyification10 күн бұрын
the m135i is just pathetic when you have driven the older m140i with not only a b58 straight six but also rear wheel drive, more torque and more horsepower. Its such a downgrade from the old model and now offers absolutely nothing over a Golf or an Audi competitor. Its still a good car but its really nothing more than a mini cooper at this point.
@computerscience657910 күн бұрын
Sure, the M140i had a B58 straight-six and rear-wheel drive, but let's be real for a second-how often did you actually need all that torque just to get stuck in traffic or cruise to the grocery store? The M135i may have "downgraded" to a four-cylinder, but it’s hardly a slouch with 302 horsepower and xDrive all-wheel drive. You can still hit 0-62 mph in 4.8 seconds-oh no, a whole 0.3 seconds slower than the M140i! How will you ever survive that extra blink of an eye? And let’s be real-were you really out there drifting your M140i around every corner? The M135i’s all-wheel drive gives you better traction in real-world conditions, so while you’re busy reminiscing about track days you never went to, the M135i is giving people actual confidence on the road.
@Supraifyification10 күн бұрын
@@computerscience6579 Strange logic, by that logic a VW Up or Aygo will do you just to get groceries too. You don't even need more than 50 hp and 60 torque tbh. The m135i is a downgrade in every possible way and is essentially just a rebadged mini. Thats why its not selling and that 1 series in general has not been popular or well liked by anyone. No its not slow but its worse than the old one which is why it sucks. The old m140i isn't some car that slides around everywhere. I don't know if you are aware of the fact the m140i also had xDrive if that is what you wanted from a car. Sounds like you are a m135i owner coping about the fact you bought an overpriced mini. I have driven every 1 series including the f40 128ti and its just worse in every way except the tech. You are literally just agreeing on every point i made, the car is slower has less torque has fwd based x drive instead of rwd x drive as the current GOOD m cars have.

It seems that you have 80 totes in the van. Some orders might be just 1 tote and some may include 4 totes. Some of the ones placed at the back may be the first ones to be dropped on your route, and others closer to the exit might be the ones to be dropped in the middle of your day's route. How do you know which totes belongs to which order without having to scan all 80 totes every time??? Also, do you fulfil just one route with 24-26 drops per day, or do you have days when you drive back and forth to depo?
@TomSimonss11 күн бұрын
You only know once you have scanned the tote for the customer. If you are on a 10 hour day, you sometimes have a turnaround, so it’s split into 2 4-hour routes with a break between
@garenkarapetian70911 күн бұрын
@ I’m wondering if it would save much time if all the totes/crates in each order were of the same colour??? (For example 3 orange colour crates would immediately visually suggest that all 3 belong to the same customer.). What are your thoughts on this as a driver? Would it same a significant amount of time or not?

However, now I've got a full track spec E92 M3 and it wipes the floor with everything and anything the Clio had. However, one cost 10k and the other costs 50k

Tom, it's a shame you didn't enjoy your BMW experience, that is certainly not the plan of any manufacturer or Dealer partner. I have a 2024 F40 M135i purchased new in March this year, covered 8000 miles so far and it's been a fabulous daily, it does everything extremely well. Regarding the mileage charge, if we stay commercial that feels really fair to me. BMW have refunded you everything and restored you to the point you were at before buying the car, and they now have a car with 4000 miles covered which of course that can't sell as new. So paying towards the mileage you covered is a fair request as you've driven them. Move on and enjoy life, it's far too short to carry stress... Best wishes.
@TomSimonss11 күн бұрын
Completely agree. Only issue I have is I first made them aware of the issues & the fact I want to reject the car at 750 miles…hence my annoyance with the charge. It could’ve all been resolved ages ago

You had a bad experience. One I would say is pretty rare. I’m on my 6th BMW. Of those that includes an m140i and 2x F40 m135i with no issues at all. Personally I prefer the m135i over the clio. Bro... I am not hating and I am not trying to ruin it for you... But saying things like this is hands down the best car you have owned etc its a Huge statement to make, especially after having am f40 m135i... is this a joke? Your bad experience with a BMW dealership doesnt make the car less good. But if you consider price to smile ratio, then yes the clio 200 is propably the best you have owned. Otherwise, if someone is given those 2 cars for free, I think 95%+ would take the BMW

Although this is a bit late, I wanted to clear up a common misconception: Many people assume that bigger brakes lead to shorter stopping distances and improved performance. This isn’t entirely accurate. The main factor in braking power is actually the grip provided by the tires. For the past decade, most cars have been equipped with brakes that are more than sufficient for their needs. The true limiting factor is the tire’s grip on the road. To improve braking performance, consider using wider tires to increase road contact or opting for tires made from a better rubber compound to enhance traction. If you’re in the realm of Stage 2 or Stage 3 modifications, then upgrading to better calipers with more pistons and larger discs could be beneficial. However, these upgrades focus more on heat dissipation rather than purely enhancing stopping power.
