Def Leppard, Metallica and Guns N' Roses had nothing to do with Freddie Mercury, he never met them. I assume Queen invited them to ensure american live tv coverage, as they were the most famous bands then.

Incredible song ! Wild to think they stopped playing it 25 yrs ago !

This crowd is exactly like when i saw them live recently. Everyone in the mosh pit absolutely sucked. I was way furher back as i couldnt afford the other tickets but i was dancing and singing every word 🤣 it makes me sad....

A sign of the economy, sadly. A lot of those who can afford those seats aren't die-hards. Bring back ticket lines so the real fans can earn their spot up front!

You are right they did not sing the second verse..."Back in the city he's a man on the loose...He is the shadow that's following you...etc" Well better 3/4 of this song than not since it is more rare. I did hear them play this in full twice in Las Vegas.

I had the same thought. High-paying "VIP" duds up at the front. Probably most of the fans who know the songs and get into them much further back. The band deserves more excitement than what we can see here.

I was there, they weren't acting like zombies, but most didn't know it because alot of the younger people jumped on board with the " hysteria" album, loved it, then listern to high and dry, and pyromania, learning "photograph " " rock of ages" ect , these are songs nt released as singles, or played live. I was next to people who didn't know the songs, and loved them, better late then never!

I'm fortunate to say that I was present for this concert and got to hear this be performed. Amazing to think they played an 18 song set with as much as they did from Pyromania. Even though the 2nd verse got cut this sounded spectacular. Cheers!

Yeah I wish the second verse wasn't cut, but I guess they only have but so much time for the set.

That’s one of the tours I wish I had seen and of course pyromania. Glad I got to see so many great bands in the 80s. But this gives the new generation how great concerts were back then and how electric the crowds were. It’s amazing how the bands and the crowd feeds off each other. This is awesome footage and at the same time sad that Steves not with us anymore. He had everything he could have asked for. God bless him. Def Lepp will always be my favorite band. Hands down. ❤❤❤❤

Joe's absolutely right about releasing an album: it *IS* an event rather than just another product with a serial number... Simply churning out records every year just to keep the marketing boys happy doesn't do much for the quality of songwriting, gathering fresh ideas and material, or recharging your creative batteries every once in a while. It just becomes 13 a dozen.
