line too tight right by the boat is how most people snap off. Muskie is common for that happening you gotta take time..let them run at least once

@Colton Hutchison hey buddy is that wake bait a floating style or slow or fast sink rate? Gotta get me one. I live 20 min from the Susky! I fish around Duncannon and Harrisburg. Can’t tell what stretch you’re fishing. Awesome video and congrats! Big lure, big lunkers!

Nice job man, congrats! Thanks for sharing! So I’m looking at fishing the Susquehanna in a kayak for the first time. I don’t have a motor on her yet. Any advice would be appreciated. I see you’re not using a motor and still went up river.
@2aforever51027 күн бұрын
I live on the Susky and fish in a kayak without a motor. Just paddles. It’s very doable, as long as it’s not high and fast.
@coltonhutchison27 күн бұрын
Yep paddling or pedaling is 100% realistic and to be honest helps you slow down at certain times compared to having a motor to jump spots. Don’t get me wrong, a motor helps a whole lot overall, but if you’re cool with getting a workout in paddling up-river and/or dragging your kayak, you can get to the right spots for sure.

@lifeofmike5562 ай бұрын
You need a kayak paddle tether. It’s like $4. If you don’t wanna buy one just tie string to it. You cannot afford to lose that paddle when you’re on the water.
