In my opinion he is the hardest boss, i killed all the other bosses in the first try except this boss

Returnal is not harder than the Soulsborne games. It's kind of easy. I died in the tutorial, and then beat Act 1 on my second cycle. Returnal is only hard if you speed-run. If you take your time in the biomes raising weapon proficiency and collecting artifacts, the game is easy.

i know im over 2 years late, but you could've just leveled up vigor. 12 vigor is incredibly low so a boss as powerful as astel would obviously oneshot you...

Goin into boss fights, you need high proficiency good gun plus decent amount of integrity plus a health or revival consumable

Erlang Shen is the hardest. Yellow Loong is probably the 3rd or 4th hardest.

The game was easy to me :D I finished the game in just one run (no deaths) That took me 1 and a half day, cause I couldn't sit constantly all day long But, yes! The game is amazing and yet the best for PS5 controller. Feels absolutely amazing on hands!

Funny, I never rage quitted once with Returnal. I found Kena more frustrating. Had to drop the difficulty level down, not gonna lie. At least the combat in Returnal becomes intuitive and instinctive. Muscle memory, you find your self dodging and reacting naturally after a while but with Kena you don’t even get a map to show enemies attacking you from behind and the controls aren’t as fluid. As for the puzzles and working out where to go, again there is no map and Kena doesn’t think allowed or remind the player where she needs to go by willing herself on like Selene. Had to refer to walkthrough guides on KZbin just to find the 4 shrines that needed cleansing and that’s early game.😂😂😂

Thought there had to be a catch. I couldn’t understand why none of the staff bought it for themselves. I could literally of bought it and sold it at CEX and made an instant profit. The disc was perfect and I’ve been having a blast with the game. Installed without any issues. Tested the suspension save feature and it worked without any problems. Best bargain I’ve found in a long while. Whilst all my games are relatively new and I’ve only just sampled the others, I can see me spending a lot of time playing this game.

No where near harder than demons souls. Nemisis was one of the easiest bosses. Honesly Kena bridge of spirits on expert spirit guide is harder

Nemesis is the hardest the boss in this game. If you can beat him you'll have no problem beating the game. The last boss Ophion is actually one of the easier one.

I don't know about the game being harder than Demon Souls. To me Returnal is much easier than From Software games.

I mean, the AAP07 Balteus, the AAP03 enforcer, AA-602 CATAPHRACT, and like ALL of the Ibis series AC’s are at least 10x harder than this guy haha

This game is so good. I am on the 5th biome and beat the Nemesis boss on my first try.

This game isnt that hard. All you have to do is keep moving. Dont stop moving even when you are shooting. Learn to dodge correctly and anytime there is a boss fight.. Keep moving in a circle or back and forth! Again dont stop moving back and forth. Gain as much health as possible. Easy. Also dont play it on PC people. It was made to be played on PS5 with the dualsense controller which has AMAZING and I mean amazing dualsense features. One of the best games with it.
