Backing for sure is better in a manual; Automatics equal less fatigue over the day. The manual keeps you more aware of going uphill or downhill, and forces you to try and keep distance in City driving.

He is telling the truth. There's so many drivers out here that only want to do 200-300 miles a day, and that's it. The problem that he's also not mentioning is that there's so many companies that won't give their drivers enough miles because they know they won't do in a way. He is correct, but the companies are also at fault in summer Occasions

If you do the math that average is 71 miles an hour, you cannot average 71 miles an hour in a truck for 24 hours too much traffic weather hills weight. There's too many factors in you're in a car theoretically. Yeah, it's very possible, but there's too many factors when you're driving a truck.

This sentient lifestyle can take you away sooner than later. OTR's, you gotta try to do some kind of activity every break you get. Even if it's just hiking in place inside your sleeper, when the weather is crappy. And the biggest thing? load as much homemade food in the fridge as possible. NO TRUCKSTOP FOOD...that shit is pure death. Subway has been accused of using fake tuna made from some unnatural shit. Cook you some greens and lean chicken or some fish and hopefully you can hold enough in your fridge to hold you for 2 weeks! I'm close to my BMI suggested weight at 57 yo from doing this.

Cascadia is a great truck. But there is no way I would order a truck with a manual transmission anymore. I have about 400,000 miles driving the DT12 automated and absolutely no problems. There's just no reason to go back in time to go shifting
