I kinda want to recreate this SP commute but with the sdp45 Which is for sale by athern genesis It is really rare because it was made back in the 1980s and everyone resells it on eBay so it’s kinda tricky to find one But even then you need to find the single level cars which I might just have heavyweights to replace them

Great layout very beautiful. But the background music has gotta go, too loud and distracting. I want to hear the trains.

Thank you! The music is part of the 'ImagesRR' style. The Vargas brothers thought it complemented the trains very well and I agree with when that it sets a good mood.

The engine is SP SD40R which can be seen in kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYDNhIquipKfaNU The load cars were custom made by Jim and Orion.

Raphael, I grew up a few blocks away from the museum at 15th and Castro streets, and I grew up walking up the hill with my grandfather and going to this magnificent layout all the time. It was always a huge highlight and treat, and it sparked my love for model trains that I still have today. I remember the club well (when it existed, I was briefly a member), and I love your videos of the trains running the layout. I haven't been to the layout for many years. It makes me feel homesick to see it all and I appreciate so much that you guys keep it alive. Thank you so much.

Es una SD70 de Union Pacific. Busca "up sd70 s scale" on Google, Lionel los hace in S scale.

@ si ya busque muchos gracias por la información lo único que solo el tren principal cuesta 600 dolares y a mi me gustaría un sets. hay un sets a escala S pero el tren es de vapor y no me gustó. El que si me gustó que es un sets de BNSF locomotora diésel ET44C4 es escala O 😤 😂

The Vargas did mention the cars are in S scale. The buildings are too. Some are scratch built, some looked like kits or "kit bashing". For example the big round house is made from several ho kits, modified to fit the s scale size.
