thanks for helping me put line on my Abu Garcia 6’6” Black Max Fishing Rod and Reel Baitcast Combo fishing rod in 2024, im a new fisher trying to get these 3 pound small and large mouth bass and this is my first ever baitcaster that isnt a uglystik spinning rod and reel combo :)

@@chrisfishingtv1 yes, the surface iron bite was fantastic. On our last day, three of us in our panga hooked up to 80+ yellowtail, landed & safely released 64 before Noon, all on surface iron. I think I caught over 70 yellows on surface iron for the 4 days. It was my best trip to Cedros so far. I fish with Captain Javier.

Thanks for the reply. As with anywhere, always keep vigilant of surroundings. Our experience, once away from the USA Border, was great, with friendly locals, police, and military. Being a Spanish speaker absolutely helps

So im 16 about to be 17 i was doing this and about halfway thru my line bundled on the right side of my reel snd nested its self snd if i wanna undo it i have to cut like half my line what am i doing wrong

Did you remember to feed the line through the guide on the reel? The guide is meant to evenly distribute the line by alternating left-right across the spool. If it bunched up on one side, it sounds like this could be your issue
