How do you reset the LA error code on model G280646G060. I know it’s a high pressure code. I left the unit off for 30 min (without power) and the unit defaults back to the LA error code almost immediately without the compressor turning on. Bad switch maybe, but why can’t I clear the code? This breaker plastic parts are extremely fragile and mechanically unreliable. A brand new XT2 63A breaker just fell apart. On/Off handle snapped with bare hand, auxiliary contacts bracket broke off and there is no reliable position indication. I expect at least some quality from device which costs 700 Eur.

Thanks for these videos. I had to remove a couple of this type of switch and they were in an awkward position so I couldn’t see how to remove them. I didn’t even know what the were called but a search on google soon showed them and your video made removal very easy. Cheers, Stuart 🇦🇺

Thanks for the introduction video. We have more than 10 units of this machine and have not been happy with it and replaced all of these due to unreliability and inaccuracy. We have these units having different label of TIS-1850. These units are originally manufactured by CEM in Shenzhen, China or its subsidiary factory in India and white label the products by different companies as their own. Two of these white labelling companies are TIS UK and RS Pro UK. Good points we have seen in these units are strong body and not flimsy, clear laid out and nice user interface and screen and average leads. Following are the issues: It uses 8x Ni-Mh AA cells and when these cells are drained, you need to put the machine on charge due to rechargeable type. When it is being charged, you cannot use it because the ports where you connect the leads are blocked by red plastic sliding cover. If the rechargeable cells do not hold charge, you will not be able to use the tester as you have to put it on charge most of the time. When you put 1.5V Alkaline cells in the place of Ni-Mh cells, the tester may or may not work. When the tester is working and you test low ohms, resistance or insulation resistance, it may display first reading as 0.000 ohms while leads are shorted with each other and second reading may be more than 5.049 ohms and the reading afterwards may display that there is open circuit and the leads are not shorted together. Generally, it may work or not and its readings vary each time and so inaccurate and unreliable. Also, when you press TEST button, sometimes, it will test and sometimes you only get the beep, however, no test is performed. If you look for support regarding these MFTs, you will not find proper support links. TIS does not have this product now on their website. RS Pro has Italian user manual on their product selling page and CEM does not have a support information on their website. Conclusion: We need reliable and accurate MFTs. This is not one of those. I suggest that you steer clear of these MFTs and consider other brands such as Kewtech, Megger, Martindale or Fluke. Metrel is another brand that can be considered.
