Love her powerful guttural voice. She’s a one of a kind… so original.

It was an ironic joke, they were all laughing. They were impressed by Bono's delivery
@garrghhh7 ай бұрын
Yep - joke. The "maybe you could try standing for this one" brings it to that 'absolute clarity contradiction-level', even to outsiders (to their group culture), I'd say. To be fair, however, I wasn't entirely sure at the initial "passion" comment - Eno's (?) delivery is so dry (there) ... heh... _Edit: or whoever is on the couch? Whoever starts "taking the wee" (so-to-speak) first..._ 😄

Never a truer sentence. A little moment I had with U2 in Bris Vegas in '89: post the gig, outside their hotel, meet them, get them all to sign my 18-hole cherry DMs, tell Bono I'm fulfilling a dream doing so, cos I've finally met someone who knows Brian Eno. Clayton laughed the hardest.

This is a great performance by the band but Ralf's guitar really makes the difference and takes it to another level, something that the studio recordings never quite reached.
