Appreciate your response. As a meat hunter then you can take the animal any way you wish. Except for being in season what is the difference between shooting from a boat or from a truck driving down the road or spotlighting at night for that matter. You are right I hunt for sport and not to have to feed my family Carry on with your non sport harvest.

Lots of small fish kept. Guess this is ok where you are in Greenland. In UK where I live fishermen are always moaning that they can't make a living any more but in the past they caught too many fish, removing fish that would breed in a few years, and now the sea is empty.
@simpledj509chromo729 күн бұрын
Not only small fish but big breeders too, depending on species. I'm not huge on monster trophy fish that aren't going to taste as good but are also still great breeders for the population. Apparently these don't get that big but responsible harvesting is always a good idea. I'm not entirely sure we saw that here.
@DrewWithington29 күн бұрын
@@simpledj509chromo7 For hundreds of years there was a huge cod fishery on the Grand Banks off Newfoundland. Sustained thousands of jobs. Then over-fishing. Now there is nothing. All gone.

@@DrewWithington And we've seen it across the world time and time again, throughout history. It needs to stop. Sustainable harvesting of land grown crops, animals, and marine life has to be done responsibly. There is no future without responsible harvesting as the priority. Education and catch laws are two ways to accomplish this but in many parts of the world catch laws especially are impossible to enforce and the people are already struggling. lt's a tough problem to solve worldwide.

Shooting from a boat disgraceful not a true stalk hunt.. Caribou are also extremely easy to kill normally one shot and one caribou how about at least making it a fair hunt.. IMO
@carfvallrightsreservedwith6649Ай бұрын
Disgraceful? NOT in my book. "Hunting" is taking game with the least energy spent. "Sporting" is what you're basing your statement on. I quit stand hunting decades ago. Had enough of scent blockers, camo this camo that, newest/fastest caliber, all that sh*t. All but one shot with .22-250 55gr. Cab of pickup on hilltop, engine off, window down when needed. Then usually 400 yds (or less) drive to spot, tailgate down, 2"x12"x8' slid out, deer dragged up plank. Easy-peasy.
