This was the start of this bands downfall...when Henry started to turn to a bit more commercialised songs, ...not with their 1st two lps,...music wasn't bad,but. ,fans didn't hang...

Anybody know who the guest guitarists were? also, was that Hughie in the background?
@bigclyde4u2 ай бұрын
@@kevinp6593 , if you click on the title it will give you the description of the video. I have every band member listed. The guest musicians are Billy Crain and Jim Fish from the Henry Paul Band. Nope Hughie is not in this video. He passed away in 2007.

this song made me almost swallow an entire tank of helium. i wasn't able to find any helium that wasn't adulterated with oxygen. i was in a bad place in june of 2017 after being humiliated the second time by the jamcruise community. once should have been sufficient. humiliating me in person, on june 2nd, 2017, recreating what took place on january 2014. nobody on this earth cares more about how i was treated on jamcruise in 2014 than karl. sings about this every single night

Well, I've been tom-cattin' For such a long time now Runnin' into open arms Just to walk right out But all that I'd needed Just don't get it anymore That this cold and lonesome feelin' Has got to go There's this, here, one lady Keeps on comin' around And I'm thinkin' that, maybe This is love we've found She said she could save me There's no real way to know But this cold and lonesome feelin' Has got to go Well, that one-time woman Gave her all my love Thought for sure she was satisfied But then the changes came And run on the rain And my sun refused to shine Woman, hold me near Listen here I got to love you one more time If it is the same There won't be no rain We'll just move on down the line Yes, this road keeps rollin' And, darlin', I must, too Only wish I was callin' Nobody else but you You can read it in my letters You can hear it on the phone That this cold and lonesome feelin' Has got to go Yes, this cold and lonesome feelin' Has got to go Gotta go

Extended thought. You guys did a great job where Huey Frank and Billy played. I was amazed how true to the first recording this was. Remember we learned all these licks without KZbin and tablature just by listening and trying and watching at concerts

That was a real extended play treat. Thank you Brothers. I formed a band with my friend Al poliak playing gigs in Virginia Washington DC and Maryland. Al turned me on to the outlaws, skynyrd, the whole southern rock genre. I was hooked. We were called the Southern Sage Band. We tried to do Green Grass and High Tides and a number of other Henry Paul songs justice, but definitely fel short of this band. We did have a wonderful piano and keyboard player in Al. It's like that song by Bob Seger in days gone by video "like a rock" Where did the years go. We were in the happy Carefree days of Youth. Now 66 and at peace with God and Men through Christ, I still Celebrate life and appreciate this excellent piece of artwork and musicians talent.
