CRV ALLOWS THE CAN TO VENT THE VAPORS INTO YOUR HOME AIR which you inhale instead of the can exploding. So you will be poisoned by inhaling it. Years back my sister saw a fire ball float upstairs from her basement - likely from products like these with vapors. She was lucky to not have had an explosion. I have hyperosmia and can smell the lighter fluid from Bic lighters unused when it was near my face - I would not trust the butane cans to be air tight, especially if it arrived dented.

@@terifrank7393 kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5zamWiBpLyCnsUfeature=shared This is my video on my chicken tractor. Hiwever, if i were to buy another one, i would not do a triangker shaped run, it is too hard to manage food and such at an angle. I'd rather have the walls of the run (cage) vertical, if that makes sense.

This is the best Costa Rican Gallo Pinto recipe I have found on the internet so far! It looked very yummy - Thanks! 🫶🏻 I’ll be very proud to show my friends your video and explain breakfast for Costaricans (“Ticos”). My father would make us the best Gallo Pinto breakfasts! Since you make it in the morning, you may have left over meat from the day before; so my father would find the left overs (like chicken or steak) and cut it in little pieces and add it to the gallo pinto- yummmm! Best memories! ❤ Sometimes he would also make scrambled eggs and add it to the Gallo Pinto👌🏻 It is a very versatile recipe that you can tailor to your preferences or to whatever you have on hand… You can enjoy it with bread or tortillas! You can add Salsa Lizano ( a Costa Rican bottled sauce for meats) and/or a dollop of “Natilla” ( sour cream) or plain Greek yogurt with salt and a squeeze of lemon. The name “Gallo Pinto literally means “colorful rooster” and the colors are very well represented in your recipe by the red “Chile Dulce“ ( bell pepper), the green of the herbs; and the black and white of the black beans and rice. It’s wonderful to wake up every morning to this Colorful Rooster👍🏻😊. Thanks🫶🏻

"I don't want to scare you but..." (shows video of entire family being engulfed in flames). I'd say I'm pretty scared, LOL, but in a good way into making sure there are no dents, every single cannister is CRV rated, and that I never used a pan too large!

I haven't bought seeds for any of the extra large jalapeño varieties, but I definitely plan to. I've been growing jalapeño peppers for a few years now. Last year after I learned about 'jalapeñogate' I realized I should appreciate mine more than I had been. I need to be better about harvesting them while they're still green.

I'll check out jalapenogate! I enjoy jalapenos frech green or ripe red. I notice the flavor of fresh green is bright and refreshing, especially if I pick them premature like I did with some of them in this video.

There are some important/helpful ways to improve this design. You want to blacken the pot that you are using. Aluminum in particular needs to be blackened because it is fairly good at reflecting IR (you don't want that, you want to absorb IR). There should also be a blackened lid over the blackened pot. The clear glass lid is a over that, is definitely a good idea though. You need a wider aperture/opening for the mylar to reflect more/better. Look up Jone's Funnel Cooker design. Very easy to make. 60 to 76 degree angles are the most efficient (on average, exact location, time of year, etc all factor in for specific angles). Also, the larger the reflective panels, the more Solar energy it will collect and focus, which equals more heating power, which equals faster/more efficient cooking. Believe it or not, but with Funnel type Solar cooker designs, you want a more matte surface reflector than super shiny. Jones, a university professor and one of his students, tested different reflectors, and found that the shiny side of aluminum foil worked better than "mirror" like reflectors. The reason being is that the light becomes more diffuse and heats up the pot more evenly. The mirror reflectors tend to create hot spots. Better insulation would help. Ceramic is not particularly insulating. Actually, it is kind of heat sink, though once it does get warm, it will retain it somewhat ok (insulation and heat retention aka specific heat capacity are different things). A couple towels or the like between the ceramic and everything else will help to insulate it better. I'll be putting up a video on my site in the near future on how to make an ultra efficient, fairly easy, and fairly inexpensive Solar cooker. Basically just involves a large glass container (100 oz), a blackened, medium sized camp pot, an acrylic disk that fits over the glass container and with a small hole drilled in the center, a homemade silicone gasket, a few cut bamboo pieces, a Funnel style reflector (one of the best imo), and a Pump'N'Seal pump and check tab (this is the main reason for the high efficiency, it will be vacuum insulated). The project is mostly done, should be finished by today, then need some consistent sun. (Video will probably be two parts, how to make and showing it in action).

So far, I really like them. However, I made the mistake of putting too much water in them when the plants were still small. It was easy to correct because of the built -in drain, so I just released the excess water. I like the ability to control the water and look forward to bringing them inside this winter.

As long as you don't cover the butane canister compartment, like the manual tells you not to do, BECAUSE IT WILL HEAT THE CANISTER WITH FLAMMABLE MATERIAL UNDER PRESSURE, this is negligible. This safety precaution is a fairly minor one and it is nice, but not necessarily as life saying as some of the comments think it is. If you're out in the woods and don't know how to properly use your equipment safely and use your noggin then that's on you. It's fine unless you need help reading and following instructions. One or two Amazon reviews that lack any kind of context doesn't mean you shouldn't use other canisters. This just isn't that big a deal.
