Hi First of all, I would like to thank you for the effort you put into making this video. Secondly, I have a question and I wish you have the answer to it. I wanted to do a compression test on a "bucky ball" (and more precisely on the pentagon side which means 5 spheres where I cut a little bit of material in solidworks so that I can put a discrit rigid with contact interaction). But the problem is it doesn't work unfortunately. On the monitor window, it says that there are some surfaces that abaqus doesn't recognize. And when I add a constraint (coupling), it actually works but the bucky ball run far away from the two rigid solids. And that is not real at all knowing that there is only a Z-displacement (U3). Can you please help me ? I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL. Thank you

@@KUMARABANINDRAJANA For basic mechanical properties like modulus and poisson ratio, you can refer any literature. Glass fiber is a very basic composite, you will find it easily. However, for Hashin Damage parameters, you need experimental results of fracture tests and these are difficult to perform, so I'd suggest you use some generic values for glass fiber composite from any research paper, or any tutorial video where glass fiber is used.
