I don't care when this was posted, who posted it, or many haven't seen it. This is the BEST dance/song duet I ever watched/heard. It's made even more powerful because it's 90 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR!! That means everything that has ever come after it has ro live up to this. The chemistry between these two is indescribable. I don't have the patience for learning choreographed dances so I just chose to practice boxing with my daughter and I get that same feeling feom watching us in the mirror as I did as a kid watching this on TV (not knowing I was watching reruns yet)! Thank you for this.

Shirley Temple was a protoo Marxist in this movie, hating the unfairness of capitalusm, while everyone around her called her selfish for it. Its really astoundingly abusive for no one to say, "You know, little Karla Marx, youre right. It is unfair and we should be unhappy about it

What a great scene! I never thought about skin color as a child & really didn't until all this "woke" stuff & All Black lives Matters started! I love all my friends of color ,& I'm a blue eyed blonde of German ,English,Scottish decent! I just wish people would be kind to each other! ❤

If you break it down it’s weird but it’s a movie lol I think ppl are reading into it way more in an era where stuff is weird but things weren’t as cynical or strange then. What was happening behind the camera is what was shocking…

Mr. Robinson was a class act the likes of which will never be duplicated in show business. R.I.P.

Calm down!! Didn't you see the movie? She's just wearing the ballet dress that she got for her birthday party! Ballet dresses are very short to highlight the full legs while dancing

Funny that everyone is black constantly, like whites didn't dance at all back then. We know they did, so what all the black stuff was about idk.? 😊. We got Fred Astaire, Danny Kaye , and Bob Hope later on i guess, but still. Groucho Marx danced 😅

I don't get the reverence for Shirley Temple exceeding respect for the talent of Bill Robinson. In a just world, the precocious 6:48 kid would have been the supporting cast and the accomplished Robinson would have been the star!
