i understand your point, but also - literally everyone who is preparing for naxxramas, regardless if they have every possible piece of gear from temple of ahn'qiraj or not, wants the items from this dungeon. plenty of people who want "preraid bis" already have raid gear. the majority of the gear used on this character (but not all) can be obtained outside of raid. tarnished undermine reals from dungeons can be used to purchase tier 1 and tier 2 dungeon set armor pieces.

Toxicologist if you’re close to full bis and have three pc zg. It scales even harder in raid with venemous totem as well. You shouldn’t need executioner if you’re using dream eater and veiled shadows. Edit : Just simmed it. Toxicologist for sure heading into Naxx. 3/3 Undead set , we lose out on the zg 3 pc due to Kaigys Clasp so you just rock the 4/5 2.5 with Toxicologist.

It's 1.9 speed so it's slower than the old version which was 1.7. it's got equal mainhand DPS to the AQ ripper.

it would definitely kill the boss faster, but im not really concerned with going from a 8 minute 57 second kill to a 8 minute 51 second kill or whatever, it really doesn't do much damage.

Moving would open him up to spiders getting in behind him

i dont want to get rid of the spiders, i need them there. they heal me for more than they deal damage to me, i think i would die without them there.

I had not considered that. I was just using the same tanking build i used to be a tank in the dungeon normally. Maybe i will try that! good suggestion

I have now tried this. I think the valuable talents are Ghostly Strike and Preparation. Preparation gives you an extra evasion at the start while you wait for the number of spiders to get really high. I think Serrated Blades bonus damage (and thus bonus healing) for Crimson Tempest is irrelevant because you should full heal every time Crimson Tempest ticks anyways. I found that Setup barely adds any combo points at all while doing this solo. I will go back to doing this with combat build. I will add Greater Stoneshield Potion, maybe Black Belt shoulder soul enchant, and 3/3 Ruthlessness talent.

I thought phase one was fun, way too much retail after that. I agree though. Do a new season of classic with the raid and dungeon content. Maybe gear updates but with no runes or buffs/nerfs

@@OMGiTzSpAnKy Well I was MT last classic so no I had a very complex and dynamic kit of abilities.. but the problem isn't the more complex rotations which were fun in phase 1 (I enjoyed feral druid and rogue) but rather the fact that it invalidates all content other than the "new" content in SOD and makes your character's power level feel way too high.. also just the "rune" system feels decideedly not classic like it being tied to 'enchanting' gear pieces and this weird system feels like some shit they'd add to retail. It would be better if it were handled by new talents or skill scrolls like in AQ20 or Tranq Shot or something
