After the new update its almost impossible to save a mutated animal, the door out of the habitat will keep shut until you contain the mutant. Could you please make an updated tutorial? :(

I do like your ranking, I disagree with some of them but, the end is also my least favourite level..I genuinely hate it id rather play any level twice. Darkened suburbs, dark poolrooms and fun+ are my favourite levels, such interesting game design. I also hate level 6 cause it is so easy to get lost. I used to hate level fun but I've played it so much I remember exactly how to play it and where to go.

Make sure you get the acorn before the mohawk. Otherwise he throws the gun and you have to struggle to get back to the top. Or get it before you grab the gun. The agent didn't do anything when i got up there.

Hello. Zoochosis got an update that changed the combat system in a whole different level. You also have a health bar and can get killed by the mutated animals. Would you check it out and maybe make a guide on how we’ll perfectly save all animals in this update? I’m glad I got an achievement where I saved everyone before this update came.

What you say at the start about cutscenes not making sense, yeah, TR3 just has Lara teleport around the place, only the last level set at least has entrance and going back sections. There's a lot of cut content, like entire level in Peru with a waterfall was shown on some game demo back then, and apparently there was a sequence that ends with Lara on top of the cliff in India. Now she just starts there without explanation. I think that's the reason a lot of people's favs are 2 or 4. Gameplay-wise, 3 has more features, and graphics are better but there's really no flow between levels. Chronicles is also made like that but at least it doesn't pretend to be a single story but a bunch of vignettes that her friends retell to each other.

16:20 So the Easter Egg is a pun, Stephenson's Rocket is apparently that train prototype and well, a real rocket you pick up... And the reason dirt and fossils look like tribal art is because a lot of textures were AI-upscaled so they tend to look like slop.

5:53 Yea, literally a PNG image in a folder. Or rather, I think they compressed them with DDS. They never packed resources, modding textures is as easy as editing images directly. Remaster is kind of a literal hack job, where they put a wrapper over PC version of old games (hence no level select) that smooths out animations to 60 FPS and plops a new graphics engine on top. Even glitches are all from old games, it works more like a source port than an actual remaster.

You were talking about lore and at 4:15 ran past Euro Chunnel sign, basically from how poorly the game delivers its story, we can piece that Lara infiltrated Willard's Lair and found info that led her to France, but instead of taking a plane or a ship, she decided to move from UK to mainland Europe using then-recently-built Eurotunnel. At this point Tomb Raider stories were just "we need an excuse to visit this location". Core only got real story that makes sense in 2 and 4 until Crystal Dynamics took over in Legend.

Iunno what you missed but it's not important. Next level is brutal! As to Crowbars, IIRC, you use-then-pick-up awkwardly in Antarctica but all other crowbars in the game are single-use. Tomb Raider 4 will have a crowbar you have with yourself all the time, remember to use it near a burning car to get a pipe because everyone gets stuck in that spot! xD

There's no save crystals because the expansions were PC-only, and crystals were used for saving on PlayStation version of 1 and 3. PC version of 3 had green "healing" crystals instead you insta-used on touching. If you play NG+ mode in this remaster set, they bring crystals back too, and TR1 will let you only save on their spot or between levels.

Remasters were the first time I properly played these expansions (I had OG discs on PC but couldn't get used to controls), IMO the level design is better than the original TR3... Especially the secrets here! There's also Nessie Easter Egg in background you can see from the bridge if timed right around 9:10. If you play Tomb Raider 2 Golden Mask absolutely make sure to get all secrets in that expansion because the last level Nightmare in Vegas is easily the best.

Great! IMO first secret is easier to get if you go from the left. Low key hate that in levels with multiple paths only one leads to all secrets. In river Ganges you can backtrack though and loot both sides. Also 7:38 Grenade launcher bullets... yeah, they're called... grenades. XD

Congratz! You did it this fast? I got stuck at the very start and only in remake actually went further past the drop into into the cathedral. What's the point climbing for Uzis or getting a rocker launcher if all your victims are like optionally two window-grates, an old night watcher, and his doggo? xD

If you're on PC and want to replay it, I highly suggest installing a bunch of modded costumes and maybe weapons for it to look better. But I personally would rather watch playing through expansion, the secret level isn't worth it for TR3, you can also access it with cheats or a downloaded saves I think.
