I love N64 Daisy. It's my favorite version of her. I love the Tan Skin, White and Yellow Dress, Long Brown Hair, Pink Crown and even the voice was amazing. It's such a shame she got ruined in the GameCube and onwards. Who else remembers when she smacked Bowser because "he scared her" ? I miss Koopa Kid. He's a million times better than Bowser Jr. BRING HIM BACK.

as someone who was a kid when the N64 dropped, the promotional renders always reminded me of birthday cake

I always fancied these renders as a kid and still do. Sadly they weren’t able to replicate this visual style in the new DKC games. Btw. I find it hilarious that despite being the ‘pinnacle of 3D animated movies’, the Viperwolf scene in the first Avatar movie has remarkably similar looking ground features and jungle plants as these old DKC renders. :P
