I understand that some Skullgirls fans (like me) liked Marie's DLC, however... her story mode... let's just say... honestly I expected more. Why does the story mode even have a "cool" beginning, let's say? But...otherwise, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IT'S HORRIBLE Why is most of the story mode just Marie's memories of blaming herself, Then the game puts a copy of Udyne's dialogue about "Dreams and hopes" OH! PLEASE! Playing with Marie is a great experience. However, its story mode... is pure disappointment.

I did this back in 2014 within a small group of friends our rules were If you don't touch the flagpole at the end take a shot If you die take 2 shots If you bubble take a shot It always eventually devolved into everyone else ganging up on me because they realized that I wasn't drunk nor close to tipsy. Granted, we always started on a new file and we were playing all the way through the game... We could never finish because we'd all get so drunk that we stopped playing the game.

Well of course it wasn't fun. Not only is it the endgame dungeon of the Beanbean Kingdom, but in case the constant laughter titles and statues of the Beanish people holding their ears with the most pained faces imaginable didn't foreshadow it, the place is a resting place for bad jokes, the one thing the Beanish _hate_ with a passion.

I live with 5 roommates and we have a dude sleeping in the living room so I’m always stuck using WiFi lol. It’s not too bad most of the time but obv get denied a lot of matches Pauls keep hitting me with that move that launches you from standing block and it’s so hard to get myself to not get wrecked by it xD

Holy hell, I couldn’t imagine being in that living situation, but different circumstances breed different solutions for sure. WiFi isn’t AWFUL by any means, just sucks the player pool is smaller. Paul (among many other characters) are some freaking monsters LMAO I’m someone who refuses to adapt till it’s too late

Definitely can get uncomfortable at times but ultimately worth it Hell yeah they can have me dead so quick sometimes haha. I know I’ll eventually get to the point where I stop falling for their bs. Studying frames and replays is definitely helping. Enjoyed the content!

Havent heard of this game in years. And the first thing I see is getting cooked by Odin. I remember Hermes(the blonde cloaked one) being worse. Granted that guy also had more safe on block moves that prepped him for a counter in case I tried to take my turn.

I like the voiced story modes, so if you don't mind, you could read the dialogues out loud as best as you can when it comes out for Marie. (Although the PC version has many items which are read by our screen readers (for blind people), the story modes are not. So we rely on the characters' voices.)

Nearly a decade later and they can FINALLY finish the story for this game. Marie was always inteded to be the last piece for it, so i'm so happy we're finally getting it. Also, Ansem skin is something I was NOT expecting, but I would absolutely use 100% of the time.
