This reminds me of the 1986 movie with David Bowie and Jim Hensen..David Bowie's big hair!! So, 80s 📼 video 📹 😊 :)

Years ago I remember they came out with a Clue Jr. Where you (the kids) had to figure out 🤔 who stole a glass of 🥛 milk and a peace of Chocolate cake-this was in the mid to late 80's 😊 :) I don't like how Clue changed to all high tech stuff, using cell phones 📱I miss the classic stuff..👋

We are watching all of your videos and seeing you get a brand new game makes me think my recent purchase: I got a brand new, never used copy of Mystery Mansion from EBay. Our son is almost 5 and we watched your videos before he goes to school or anytime we have to wait somewhere in the car for a while. He wanted Mystery Mansion after we watched your video on it. I found one on eBay that had all of the pieces still in the plastic, the room boxes had never even been folded. What luck!!! And it’s a fun game too!

Hold on, aren’t you the guy who does the voice over for the adverts and how to assemble videos by character options? Because you sound like it.

My mom got this for me when I was young. I never really played it much, but tried it out since it was a gift.

The pictures of the characters were from an era, when we all knew what men & women were, could speak our minds, woke was something you did when your alarm went off. If this upsets your "modern sensibilities" go enjoy all those movies & TV made for modern audiences.

Owned this one as a kid. I still think it is one of the more brilliant board games from its era.

I had the other version of Ghostly Galleon that was made later, a more cartoony game with a giant ship that rotated on a base to knock players overboard. Any chance of you covering that one at some point?
@TSV805Ай бұрын
We have the newer version you don’t build as you go. It still resembles the old version (doesn’t have a toilet). But it is all set up at the beginning. I grew up with the 1980s version you build as you go. The new version we have rarely works on the first try. If we followed the rule to let it fail and wait for the next turn, we’d never play or see it work.

We are missing one of the green bottles. We have 3 x hearts, 1 x diamond and 1 x clubs. Can someone please tell me what's below the sixth bottle?

I found the reproduction a couple of years ago. I love it, but it's a pain in the neck to set up. I've had to make a deal with my sister. If I want someone to play it with me, I have to do the set up myself. I love the original commercial for it. My sister has an interesting way to play. She likes killing off her own characters, if she doesn't want a specific character to win (she really dislikes the Boyfriend). Me, I'd try to get the cat to win.

it's so clear how this game shares bones with the original Mall Madness, I think it's even the same voice! I played a ton of that as a kid, I definitely would have loved this even more. Congrats on the success with the channel and with your career! I first found you because I was trying to show a friend what Grape Escape was, and I've been hooked ever since. Thanks for all the comprehensive and informative videos, your love of toys and games is much appreciated!

You're absolutely spot on, Michael Gray designed both Electronic Mall Madness and Omega Virus so there's some similarity. I love both, whilst both competitive games with only one true winner, I find Mall Madness more relaxed and strategic, you can plot your route round the mall to get the items you need. Omega Virus is a mad scramble to amass the hidden weapons and get the Virus first. It's just brilliant fun. Thanks for the kind words!

When I was a kid I wanted this game so bad and my parents got it for me. It broke pretty much instantly and we returned it and replaced it 3 times with it breaking instantly every time so we ended up just giving up on it.

I found your video on Castle of Doom while trawling the internet for help in fixing my own game. I've had absolutely zero luck and am devastated. I know you didn't seem to rate the game much in your video, but as a very lonely child I spent HOURS playing this game over and over again all by myself. I've kept the game all this time (I'm now coming up to 39 and I had the game new in 1990!). It no longer works as I seem to have played it to death and I wondered if you'd be willing to part with yours?

@@jayvalentine2046 it really makes you work for the win. We last played it about 2 weeks ago, and it was down to quite literally the very last dice roll if we won or lost… we won!
