If the engine is not running you maybe could check, or even better, measure compression. It gives you and potential buyers some info about the insides. (Pistons, rings, valves, seats etc.)

The bike is financially scrap.oh and£750 for a five speed box wheel rebuild £300 petrol tank probably rotten there's another £200 Iv got two in the process and quite frankly you can buy a real nice one for 4/5 k and no work. Some mug will buy it and weep.

@@pkplith not really only the middle cylinder and then only if it isn't set up right and abused, a lot of people rev the nuts of off these and they don't need it because they have oodles of torque.

Greetings from Wisconsin. Nice haul! There used to be a guy from the UK who would attend the big annual 5 day Davenport, Iowa motorcycle swap meet every year. He was a very active buyer, filling a large trailer with bikes, everything from investment grade condition H1's to Indian Scout basket cases. He knew what he was doing and had the $$$'s!

This thing is a much sough-after bomb. Crappy suspension, lousy brakes, a saddle that will massacre your hemorrhoids .. but the bike is an absolute BLAST to ride off-road. It won't win a race, but it will scare the hell out of you the rider and anyone beside you . NOT kidding ... it will absolutely scare the hell out of you. I LOVE IT!!!!

You sure that's a 1960? The motor might be, but that bikes not original. The most noticeable things are the front disc brake, front fender and I think I'm seeing a chrome plated frame, and definitely an aftermarket Cobra seat.
