Rookie mistake getting your saw stuck like that...... We all do it.... Your first cut obviously indicated the log was wanting to stand back up so down pressure shouldn't have been a factor but rather up pressure. The top however, once cut loose would have been wanting to go down and to your left as you were cutting.... I'd have moved over to the cradle and cut all of those big limbs off of the top and let it fall down and away from the log thus eliminating those opposite forces pushing against one another at the bottom of your cut causing that pinch point........ I'm laughing WITH you my friend...... Not AT you because I've done it many times.......

How do you keep that wedge from slamming up and down, such a small cylinder and the pressure that pump puts out it's gotta be slamming...two flow controls or line restrictors ?

I got 20 pieces of pallet rack decing like you have from my old employer. I set it up on concrete blocks with 2x4 runners. I use one of the 4ftx 4ft racks on the ends to support my stacks. Ive got 2 setups 12ft long and one thats 16ft long. I stack em 4ft high and 4 ft deep. That usually does me til spring

Yep. It does work well. I e done this w a couple bucks. Didn’t get to them when they were fresh and this worked so well. Almost worth it to just bury it. I used a wire to tie the antlers off to a bush just Incase a critter dug it up and tried to carry it off.

Buried one in my yard about mid November last year. I’m a little scared to dig it up after 11 months 😂 been super dry here. I guess I have to now. Just got another buck in archery season. Would be perfect to pull last years and drop the new one in the same hole.

the 12-22 and the axis w conveyor are both 13k now. I guess you add 1k for auto cycle? and $700 for box wedges? I cant decide . I have a decent box store vert hot splitter. I keep a calender on the wood tote to measure my cycle time
