Thank you for explaining in detail and showing how to do the parking method. I've also watched so many videos, and I didn't understand until watching your video. Visual overload is helpful for me personally😊. My next thing to learn is pattern keeper. I've gone into it, and I just get lost and 😕. Again, thanks for sharing.

@@CinCitylicious I’m so glad it has helped! Parking is a great method when mixed a little bit with cross country to speed up time and effort. I mix the two methods because traditional parking is way too strict, sometimes I just have to stitch the few stitches that are outside the parking 10x10. I also have a video for pattern keeper… kzbin.info/www/bejne/lauZdHaoZd-Aq6csi=4wBQZdW1frXAWiJs

@SassyStaci

@@Marian514 I would suggest making sure the settings and shortcuts are correct for how you like it. Even if you don’t have a double tap shortcut to park, it should allow you to park when you have just one stitch highlighted. I don’t know a fix if neither of these ideas help, sorry.

I was sad I was going to miss out on the class close to me but I'm kind of excited about being able to go to class with my friends. Me and my husband are going to make a vacation of it and explore South Dakota! I do hope that Cathy comes back to Sassy Jack's again for a class so I don't have to travel so far 🤣

Love the tutorial, thank you! I have a question. I manually typed in my DMC colors and when i finished I made a mistake and duplicated two sympols the same color. Can I change the symbol color. I didn't see an edit button.
@SassyStaci
@SassyStaci 4 ай бұрын
Sorry I’m just now responding. If you go to the menu for that pattern on the Home Screen (where all your patterns are listed) there is an option for “edit legend”. You can change your DMC numbers here. It is a possibility however that Pattern Keeper did not recognize the difference between the two symbols and therefore automatically put the same DMC number on the two symbols. It may not have been your mistake. If this is the case, then there is no way to fix it.

Tucker is SO adorable! I just discovered your FT and apologize if this has been asked and answered before (I’m watching from the beginning!), but how do you determine the number of stitches during the time that you were stitching, do you measure from the chart or? I want to start a project journal.
@SassyStaci
@SassyStaci 5 ай бұрын
Ha. Thank you so much for your interest in my channel and my stats! Yes I stitch an area of a chart that would be easy to count, then I add up the stitches by looking at the 10x10 chart. If I have a copy of the chart, I will highlight it to death to help me be able to easier count. Some online charts (like Awesome Pattern Studio, which you will see me stitch) will show how many stitches there are of each color. And some charts (like the Ink Circles mandala that I did a quarter of in this video) tell the total number of stitches and I do an even portion of the total. I hope this answered your question. Thank you for watching, especially from the beginning!

@@SassyStaci your answer totally makes sense, thank you. Now I’m anxious to hear how/when/why, you decided to ‘park’ (I think that’s what it is called) as in the early FT you were saying ‘I probably won’t ever or something like that’! I’ve always said that too…but I’m a ‘never say never’ kinda person so I’m open to the idea if it is efficient. At a glance it looks cray cray. I’ll stay tuned and see what happens🤣
