I’m going to be studying nursing this year (my first year) 😅 and so I was wondering how are u finding everything? I need some advice hehehe😅

@@lujabedajano7969 Oh thats's awesome! Are you studying nursing in Au? I am actually planning to make a video about how I ended up in nursing etc. I used to do a different degree before switching to nursing and it has been the best decision I've made! I absolutely love all my classes and they all intrigue me in some way. It is quite hard at times but I think that just comes with doing any degree. My advice is make sure you read the syllabus BEFORE starting the semester. I do this the week before semester begins. Write down all the due dates for assessments and exams before starting uni/college so you know what you need to work around for the next few weeks. Use some kind of planning system (I use a physical personal planner and also an app called Calendar 5). Organise your weekly schedule BEFORE starting uni because you hit the ground running on the first day. YOU CANNOTTTTT chill and just study the whole semester the night before the exam because there is so much to remember. Also, I found it helpful to attend office hours, where you can ask lecturers questions and also advice on how to study for the course because every course is different. In my uni, we also have heaps of facebook pages and messenger groups for each course and I normally make a post on those pages, asking for specific advice on how to study for the exam and assessments and if we need the textbooks at all. The seniors are normally super helpful, if you don't have those, try and meet some seniors by joining nursing clubs in your uni etc. Hope this helps you and Good luck! You'll love it <3

Aw omg thanks for replying! And no not in Au but here in NZ! And yay would totally love to watch your vid!! I’m actually taking this pathway course to nursing this year first and then in mid July I’ll then be going into the actual nursing course! The place where I’m studying isn’t actually a uni it’s just a polytechnic so idk if they have clubs and all that but I’m definitely gonna be looking out for the senior nurses!
