I recommend the MC-707. The sound quality is very good. The display also shows various information, which is useful for live performances. Also, each of the 8 tracks has a fader and knob, so you can quickly change the sound of each track. Unfortunately, I have never used the ELECTRON, so I will refrain from commenting. The electribe can be purchased for about half the price of the MC-707 (currently in Japan). The electribe requires you to use the "<" and ">" buttons to move from 1 to 16 to change the sound of each part 1-16. This is more inconvenient than the MC. Also, the number of simultaneous voices is limited, so you may not be satisfied with just this one. However, the electribe also has good points, and the chord function is easy to use. In this regard, I like it more than the chord function of the MC-707. Also, the synth sound is cheaper than the MC-707, but I like that because it is similar to an analog synth. I have been doing DAWLESS JAM for about 5 years. During this time, I added more equipment through trial and error, eventually arriving at my current setup. Currently, I use an MC-707 as the master and an electribe as the sub machine.
