this is hand drawn in a program called TV Paint. Each frame is then risograph printed and scanned for the texture

This is some amazing work and I'm glad I could find the source and tell you how striking this is. Amazing color work in a unique pallette, incredible sense of perspective and motion with the camera. I hope people see this in your portfolio and vomit work and cash into your lap.

This short looks more like a mix of Akira Toriyama and Go Nagai than being inspired by Osamu Tezuka.

I think this is around 190 frames or so. Every frame of this project was Riso printed and scanned to get that analog texture. We printed 8 pages with 23 frames on each sheet :)

I think so too! Its fun to compare to the digital version, the color oscillation and broken lines from the Riso really empowers the wind

recently, I made a three-frame animation of a fish swimming. it was the hardest and most painful thing I've ever done, including when I got my law degree. I'm still amazed at your vision and skill, and the dedication and focus it must take to animate something so smoothly with the camera moving at all those gnarly angles. Rad.

me, sees 5k views for a ff7 animation, "well I have been watching a lot of ff7 content so this animation was probably just reccomended to me cause im a fan. this must sucks eggs if it has so few views. whatever. its 10 seconds of my time." me, after seeing the animation, "oh. well that another carton of eggs on my face. guess the algorithim really does suck if this thing gets only 5k..." you're legit better than most people that make a living at this. and its not even close.

thanks so much for sharing yall :D I'm so happy that folks out there are seeing this one! I am very sorry to say there will not be a longer version - keeping a project short and sweet is what enables me to be ambitious with my execution. This animation took me about 350 hours to produce and it is only 15 seconds long :X However, I'll certainly be making more projects like this. There is a long list of fan animations I would love to produce as well as some original projects that I have cooking
